No ammo, ammar weapons don't use ammo. I thought the laser did damage over time on contact to target, not on heat buildup. If its the case of heat buildup then it is broken and needs to be fixed. If something is overheating the effectiveness would degrade not increase.....That's why when you overload weapons in EVE, the heat damage can destroy your weapon.... It's a laser, it does thermal damage so the heat buildup=increased damage makes sense, of course overheat it too much and it strips your shields. |

Current use is to burn any rock and then point it at the target, while you think the laser is too hot. See, the added DPS is not added to how long ya keep the beam on your target. It's how hot you make the gun before you hit the target..
And now I get laser hated by the guy who wants the Damage Modules to work for lasers.. drunk flying is fun but expensive, but seriously the only tweak the LR needs is an increased overheat |

ON Lasers : The current way damage works is better than the build up on target. its a weapon that is spooling up and when the components in it reach peak efficiency it does more damage. Makes sence to me. LMAO |
