Not sure of the map name, but it is whatever the one is with the giant rocket launching platform.
I see RDV's dropping like flies and crashing into the support columns all the time. Really annoying when your $1 million+ tank (if you are using one) goes down in flames through nobody shooting it down, but because the pilot dropping it decides he doesn't know how to fly and crashes.
No, he wasn't shot down. Watched the whole flight. Rammed right into one of the columns, then bounced off a building, then crashed hard on the ground. Boom.
That shouldn't cost anyone a tank. |

Erm not a bug - he crashed because you tried to call in a vehicle in an area where flying is extremely hazardous; next time try calling it in where there's nothing to crash into. Duh.... |

False, I can fly through a needle just fine. RDV are stupid. Fix them |

You should check out my post for the Ashland maps and then maybe you wouldn't make such a smartarse comment like this.
Long story short, I tried over and over again to call in a vehicle in the part of the map that is nice and flat, doesn't have a huge rocket platform in the way, and the scaffolding wouldn't be an issue. THE GAME told me that this was not a safe location! It absolutely refused to drop the vehicle there. I traveled a few steps away until it would actually ALLOW me to call in a vehicle and this was the result.
RDV does not decide to come in from the back end which would be safe as there are no huge buildings or scaffolding to deal with. Instead it decides the best way to come in is to fly directly over the launch platform. Credit where credit is due, the RDV pilot managed to miss the largest object on the map...barely, but then instead of flying forward and then dropping down, it decides to descend right then and there, right into the scaffolding which caused it to bounce off and hit a nearby small building, and then crashed on the ground behind me somewhere out of bounds.
Yeah, that was totally my fault.
I've seen numerous RDV's crashing all over the place on that map in Ambush mode, so it isn't just me.
