Now if CCP does it like plex in eve someone else could by the stuff you need and sell it for isk on the market but usually it ain't cheap. But really its just a game of wait and see what happens.

Seems like CCP's driving force with free to play is pay to get things faster, but not pay to get things no one else can.

The way the free to play is working is you can buy all your gear and equipment with ISK and pay via Aurum to purchase cosmetic items. Now that I think about it this doesn't seem likely. The most expensive Aurum items are dropsuit BPOs that only differ from their ISK variant by different color schemes.
