Please have less clothing on female avatars like in most scifi and fantasy games. There is currently no skin showing at all. How about some g-string armor or at least thong armor. |

I think this is a joke post but no they need full body protection from enemy weapons and to be able to sustain them selves in the atmospheres plus this isn't another game their bodys already look sexy enough. |

why the need for less clothing? they already have a nearly perfect gluttious maximus thanks to whoever took the time to craft it so well just wish there was a mirror in merc quarters so you could look at the front of the suits too. |

Agreed. As per RPG convention: more skin, more armor. There could be specific exceptions, e.g. Skinweave suit being mostly skin STD. |

Never. That was one of the first things I noticed when I started, that CCP didn't do that sexist bs. Dropsuits are armour, armour protects you, no nudie dropsuits. |

Granted your comment/request may come from the basis of being a joke, but this is a joke that I am unwilling to participate in. I find the comment to be troubling considering the long term affects of your request in the further entrenching of sexist behavioral patterns and the entrenchment of such behaviors in the already predominantly juvenile population that tends to pollute these forums.
Do yourself a favor by taking a moment and think about what you said in the context, "would I make such a suggestion in person, to your mom, your grandmother, your aunt, your sister, your daughter, or your niece? Would you ask this of any woman that you claim to have any shred of respect and understanding for? Would you make this request if you were fulling aware of the affects it has in the process of justifying dominant and violent behavior towards women by men?"
Maybe then you would take a moment, hear a LOUD POP!, which would indicate that your head has made it past the second sphincter, which itself loudly tells you that your head had been appropriately removed from your butt.

Actually the fact that no one is allowed to critically comment and observe the premise behind such comments is what I find more disturbing. The joke only goes to help negate the seriousness of the comment while continuing the entrenchment of such poor behavior. The fact that you have come in and attempted to bash those that are interacting with the comments, and their appearance of any applied thought and reflective understanding is another matter, though separate in some regards, that is connected to and assists in the perpetuation of those behavioral patterns that justify the continued marginalization, repression, belittlement, and oppression of women in the eyes of a patriarchal sociocultural construct.
Take these comments how ever you wish, take them as condemnation, justification, or judgement. These are observations in the context of a small shred of reflection. Something that I would give you advise in trying out every once in a while.

This OP was just suggesting something based on the irony of most RPG games and such, usually the better the armor (stats-wise) for the female character, the less it actually covers. So yes, I think it was a joke and while I don't agree with the concept or if the joke was humorous or not, the OP retains the right to say what he wants within the rules of this forum. |

Of course it makes sense to have the female avatars run around the battlefield half-naked (or fully naked w/o armor).
Women look better naked, and having no armor is a fitting punishment to any consciousness foolish enough to upload itself to a less combat-efficient female clone body.

Obviously the OP is joking, but I still find the female bikini models clad in skin tight armour* we currently have to be a bit silly, given how seriously Dust 514 takes itself. What's also a bit silly is the female avatars being zoomed out so you can see their chest.
On a slightly related note, I've noticed the male soldiers* have no thigh muscles, either.
*only applies to Scout and Assault suits |
