I have noticed some inconsistencies with vehicle turrets. Dropship requires a user for turrets, LAV requires user for turrets, tanks wtf? Driver can use turret and drive? Hmmmmm. How many people you know can drive and tank AND shoot the turret? Cuz I'd like to meet these modern day miracle workers. I know this WILL change the game, and believe me it would be for the better. If we have a requirement for someone to operate the turret we wouldn't have a squad of tanks spawning in ambush, we would have 3 guys in the tank and another guy following in an LAV, which is the way it is supposed to be! |

LAVs can be a fast transport AND an attack vehicle. Dropships can be an aerial transport AND an attack vehicle. HAVs can be... well... an attack vehicle.
It sounds good on paper, but I don't trust blueberries with my turret. |

It sounds good on paper, but I don't trust blueberries with my turret. I posted another request for squad only vehicle access. Also, this detours people from spawning tanks without friends to drive it. This is sounding better and better |

shut up, grunt. i don't trust ANY blueberry as my gunner. maybe, if we had 400 players in a match and my whole squad was one tank, then id MAYBE deal it, but probably not, grunt. get out of our tank posts. ya'll have nothing to do with us and our tanks. |

I support this thread fully. Personally I think making a tank require two people would also cut down the amount of complaining about tanks. Those who say "I don't trust a blueberry with my turret," it's a team game, deal with it. Those who want kills, spec into infantry and turrets and hope somebody brings in a tank, rather than put all SP into tanks and turrets so you can go 30/0 every match without rely much on your team.
While we're at it, I vote the gunners on the small turrets should be exposed on the militia and low end tanks, but not on the high end ones. This would make it imperative for tankers to invest in the high end tanks while allowing non-AV infantry to fight back at least a little against the devastation tanks bring. |

I fully support this request. Real tanks have a driver, a main turret operator, and then small turret operators. I agree that making tanks dependent upon a second person would drastically reduce the pub-stomping that tanks are currently doing while at the same time making tanks more powerful. If the driver is separate, they can concentrate on modules and situational awareness, like that AV guy walking up behind you. This gives the Main turret operator free reign to just blast away. |

wrong, this will weaken tanks even more, if you want this then nerf the av weapons down because most people that get in my tank are blues that don't know **** about tanks and 9/10 times give my position away because they go trigger happy. I understand your wanting to make this real world like but guess what, ITS NOT THE REAL WORLD ITS A GAME, and as far as I know this game is supostu be set hundreds of thousands of years in the FUTURE so yes there are going to be things here that don't apply to real life, get over it. |

That is why they also need to make vehicles squad access only. If they do that will it be ok. Realistically, tank spam is not fun and broken. |

I'm not opposed to the idea of some heavy vehicles working this way, but the whole "ALL HAVs MUST HAVE THIS" is just the lamest way to try to nerf them ever. |

If the main turret wsn't piloted by the driver then not only the two support guns but the main one too would all be iring vainly at the enemy MCC |

Besides, you don't honestly think the way tanjs get kills is fair. Fine, DONT require a user for turrets, but at least maintain consistency for all vehicles. I want LAVs and dropships to shoot their own guns too. If HAV dont need users to shoot then other vehickes shouldnt either. |
