Hi All,
I can't be the only one thinking this. I requested a refund today from Playstation customer service because this game is still in Beta. I still can't sell the accumulating garbage from loot, and can't be 100% sure that there won't be another stat wipe. I signed up in early August and have been through multiple stat wipes, each one ruining more progress than the last. I really want a persistent world shooter but I really regret spending anything on this game before it was finished.
Hopefully I get my refund. Goodbye Dusters. |

True that I will get my AURUM back, but I just don't have the time or interest to invest in growing the same character 4 times. Everyone playing knows that this game is now just about 30% of what it will be, and was advertised to be. If you have the patience to spend on DUST then great, but I do not. |

You knew it wasn't a finished product and you paid any ways?
Sounds like it was your own fault for spending your money on an unfinished product.

Didn't know it was going to take another year to still be in Beta. If you enjoy half a game then keep doing so. There are much better places for my time and money. Just wish the advertising 6 months ago would have reflected the multiple wipes and basically pointless (as in we don't mean crap to eve universe yet) progression.

You spent your money with full knowledge that this game was a beta and an unfinished produc. I very much doubt that you will be refunded, and CCP has stated that unless a very bad unforeseen problem occurs there will be no more stat resets |

um.... why would you ask for a refund? you level up over time for free, the game is free, you'll never lose your character, someday the game will be fun and you will allready have a ton of sp and stuff.

But... if you delete your character now then you will only have yourself to be mad at when the game actually does add more content.
And you have to start over again if you see the content and it is good. And then what will you do?
At least keep the passive skilling on and check back in a few months. People seem to do that all the time anyways...

I know that nobody reads the Terms and Conditions crap that pops up and you have to agree to, but it's just silly to not know what the basic gist of what it says.
Basically, CCP made you agree to those Terms and Conditions, so whether you read it or not, CCP will assume you understand that this is not a finished product, and CCP is not responsible for any discontent with the beta.

It's a nice thought but I won't be coming back. Hopefully the game gets good and everyone loves it, but the lack of content and character resets used up any patience I had for this game. |

Not free for him I think. There were people like this on BF3, when they released booster packs that unlocked everything for a class or vehicle, there were a bunch of people who got angry that they had to pay for them. The idea of just not buying the packs and unlocking these things by playing just never occurred to them. I figure OP bought every single Aurum item he could. |

The game is free. You didn't buy the game, so your criticism of the game as part of your request for a refund is irrelevant.

I am going to go out on a limb here and guess you bought a merc pack to get into the beta back in august so your going to request a refund 5+months later hmm pretty sure that's not gonna happen |

CCP has said multiple times(and many of the people here have repeated this) that CCP will not be doing any more SP resets. The only thing they may do, is wipe the skills to 0, and you will have to re allocate your SP. The reason for this, I think, is because they are going to seed new skills into the server. That being said, if you don't want to play, you don't have to, just don't expect a refund when you have used the aurum and gotten it back. Have fun in all your endeavors.... |
