When logibro eats the lead, who will rezz him? With high death ratio among logis we eat up clone reserves quickly Adding to the chance of defeat OK that's me acctually and i have no right to speak for all logis. Yeah i know: HTFU and i agree
But what if a logi could fit nanite autoinjector in the high slot? Upon death "request help" option would activate autoinjector and put the clone up on it's feet. It would eat so much PG & CPU that no room would be left for any serious offensive gear. It could be even made so to prevent fitting any nades. Only repers, injectors, uplinks and hives be compatible with it. Maybe some penalty on hacking speed? But it would slow down clone depletion rate by logis when we are present on the battlefield...
All rules for multiple nanite injections into same clone would apply (if any)... And autoinjector should wear down with time... |

Only see this working IF:
-massive cpu/grid needs but logi suits above level 3 get a bonus to reducing the needs by like 99% (as is done with things like cloaks and bomb launchers on eve - so not just any old suit fits it)
-doesnt work all the time, has a 20% base chance, plus say 2% per level of nanocircuitry = max 1 in 3 chance of working roughly speaking.
Otherwise a logi would wake up every time he dies, well what if he died in massive gauntlet hes just gonna die, wake up, die wake up die etc.
Even with those conditions, im sceptical and can see much annoyance in usage. |

I purposed something similar to this awhile back but mine was a module that took quite some pg and cpu and varying in the amount of health it recovered but limited to the logi class. We would not get the never ending logis cause they would put a limit on it so u die once and revive that's. It if u died again you would go straight to respawn but that's only if u chose to use the revive function. |

I don't really support this idea. I mostly run Logi Btw.
Any scout, or assault in addition to any other Logi can carry a nanite injector (and should :) As a Logi, like everyone else, I should have to wait for a teammate to revive me.
There should be no class that can do it all solo. This is why the heavy has no equip slot. Making a module as you propose, partially defeats the team based nature of dust.
Sorry, I do not support. |

Killzone 3 had a logi self revive. One time use per respawn, and had to wait till end of bleed out before the prompt to use it.
If it was a light weapon slot, it would be balanced by lack of offence. Logi that chooses it would have almost no ability to kill, just grenades and melee. This would also give other classes the option of sidearm only but have one free revive.
Could work, would need testing and feedback to see if light weapon slot for free revive is a balanced trade. |

Interesting idea, but I would prefer the ability to use my rep tool on myself, as you could do on MAG. |

This is interesting. I rant often about not blue dots (or greens) with a medic kit, such is the love for a logibro... but i digress.
I would think it would fit in the biotics section and the nantite section. But a simple monitor that kept track of life signs and auto injected a dose or two (depending on leveling) upon death. I could see different variations that opened with leveling for more armor repaired upon revival or more than one use. Make it expensive, make the skill expensive, and don't limit it to logis. While they may desire it because they rarely get the same treatment other soldiers would like them as well.
So many times I haven't been able to get to a soldier because of their positioning - could be up somewhere I can't reach, some wierd thing where his body is in one spot and the rez signal antother, or I might have to fight through a line of enemies to reach him. It would offer a new dynamic to the game but it also involves some sacrifice. More skills for the PG/CPU need, just skilling into it, loosing an equipment slot, grenade slot, or module slot will always decrease another potential benefit. Could have been shields, armor, damage mod, etc. but it also gives mercs a chance to keep their gear.
I like it. That being said there should then be an easier way to bleed out (destroy beyond repair of an injector) a merc. I've heard a double tap, or a melee or something like it should be easy and not take another 5 seconds to accomplish. This would stop some mercs from crying at the loss of their proto gear or some OHKs (one hit kills). |

If it can be balanced properly (which I think it can), I don't see why not. |
