I seem to still spawn near the enemies more often than not. And spawn trapping is still an issue. |

I have to say this isn't about me QQing. Yes i have died less to spawn ins and thats a plus. I have just noticed that once we flip a spawn we basically just farm reds the rest of the match. Since the spawning mechanism puts a group of reds together to spawn its easier to spawn camp.

I know this can't be fun and having been on the other side a few times its just brutal. When a match is 2 blobs moving around fighting each other I think its great. Once one of the teams gets spawn flipped it normally get onsided and ugly in a hurry.
The part I will QQ about is when I get spawned in on reds or reds get spawned in on me. This happens a lot on plateau map. Its a big enough map that we shouldn't be spawning in all around the center of it.
I feel like I am dying much more to the spawning mechanics now then before. While I don't die in the start of the match now I die more because of the spawning. Old spawn system you would get one red to spawn in on you and you had a chance. Now you will get a group of reds. I have been on the other side too and spawned in behind a group of reds and and killed 5 with a nade.
The spawning direction is better but now game play is more centered around tatically controlling spawn points. Frankly, I think we want a real ambush game mode not called Spawn Control.
Last thing if I used aurum gear (and I don't) I would be pissed the **** off if ccp gave us this spawn system. Dying to something like the above would make me ask for a aurum refund. It's not a player controlled action or game play. If ccp spawns you in middle of reds I don't think ccp allowed for fair use of your aurum gear.
CCP said starting last summer "spawns are fine, use uplinks" and didn't do much if anything to improve the spawning till recently. Sometimes effort is there but the results are not. At this rate of improvement it will be in beta for another 2 years.

i do like this new spawning but i do believe they need to do something about the spawning right on top of the gang of red with only 1 blue there. i think the method for spawning (ie blues goto spawnin, red negative spawn) need to another mechanic to it to add both and deny spawning if there is too many there already to help space out the ambush battles. something to be worked out in time and testing but a step forward. |

I don't get it, just today i killed two reds on the battle's first spawn. One in front of me and one on my left. As in first 5 seconds. With an Exile. It works and you should be ready before you hit X or square...
Seriously, i was racking most of my points in ambushes by just putting drop uplinks in a decent spot. The 10 clones would be used up very quickly. Now i actually have to shoot reds and stab blues as no one has use for the uplink. And i'm fine with that. |

i wish i had something insightful to say about the spawning in ambush.. i don't know, maybe add some skirmish elements to it in terms of spawning?
but i really don't know what'd fix it..
