Go afk for any battles fought on the side of the attackers! Do not let the slaughter of the Caldari people happen on your watch!
The fact that this is happening on New Caldari Prime is a travesty.
From a role playing perspective, this is a horrible attitude.
Even if you were vehemently opposed to what you were being PAID to fight for, you are a Mercenary, and an immortal one at that. You fight for who pays the bills, not for who you agree with.

Heth has gone out of his way to kill Dusters and snuff out even our minds and give us a true death. I fight for money gladly, but I never lose focus on the bigger picture.
It is somewhat hard to collect a paycheck if you're dead and no CRU will bring you back.
If Heth wants to expunge all the clones from Caldari space, he will only be sealing the fate of his empire. And empire with only finite meatbags to throw into combat will surely succumb to any clone bearing force. Simple math really.
The story part of it is largely irrelevant to the larger issue, which is with people trying to predetermine the outcome, and encouraging people to not play the game, but SP farm during a live event.
You want to role play non violent resistance, equip your fits with a militia submachine gun and walk out into your enemies guns, over and over and over.
When YOU do that, then I will see that you are committed to the fall of Heth, and I will respect it.
Finally, I hate to say this, but think of the newcomers. They load into a special event, and instead of finding a fight going on, they come across a team sitting in the MCC.
How does that encourage them to take part in another live event? How is that even fun for the other team either? If only a fraction of the enemy team shows up, there will be no fight, just a few quick kills until the few with heart to actually play realize that the rest of the team is letting them get killed, then it is just a countdown timer till the match ends.
Explain to me how that is an enjoyable experience for anyone involved? Explain to me how that gets more people involved in EvE lore, or the connection between the two games?
