In SyNergy we have 1 female player, and some creepy people with female characters. We are always open for more.

I want to start an all female corp now but I am a male.... I wonder if I could make it work anyways. I will be like hugh hefner and name my corp the playboy bunny army.

Who would have guessed that this thread would descend into:

• accusations of sexism for female-exclusivity (protip: some of the reactions in this thread are reasons someone might want a female-only space, considering as male-biased spaces are the default).
• implications of objectification and straight-up jokes about predatory behaviour
• dismissal of differences between genders (moar protip: the absurdity here is best explained by considering white guys who "don't see colour". That's great! And really easy to do if you aren't totally immersed in a culture which is unaware of how often it highlights your difference to you.

Good luck disregarding future trolls and finding some lady gamers to chill with.

It's easier. Hetero females don't creep on me or compliment me physically when they've never seen me. Non-hetero females might creep on me, but they get the picture quickly if I say I don't want to flirt with them. I've only had one bad interaction with a female gamer in the 16 years I've gamed (10 years online; been gaming since elementary :P), but I've had an uncountable number of bad interactions with males. I'll take my chances with women.

because giving away information on a forum full of people like that, this is my alt: my corp has a good 10 players that I like (out of over 200) Our CEO is a flake, our first Director got shipped out overseas, and our current Director got hit by a ton of bricks called "life" and is recuperating. If it weren't for those core guys I would have left ages ago. 1 left, who I really liked to play with, and moved to a better higher ranked corp and the flaky CEO and disappearing Director trash talk him for leaving, so the new people that join wont agree with why he left.

I'd really like to be in an all female corp, but I don't know if I could leave mine out of loyalty...

So, why not create a channel with a password we could all squad up from? :D

If there were an all female corp there would be a ton of other corps trying to kill you. I know I would hunt you, out of respect and admiration, but nonetheless if I see your corp on the enemy side I will be gunning for you.

I too would like to run with some other female players in the game. It get kinda boring listening to the guys **** talk each other all the time ya know ? To be honest though I was kinda surprised by the support and respect I get from the guys I play with in my corporation. I mean, I've read about experiences from other gamer girls and how they were treated.
