"racist, hateful, and revisionist rhetoric designed only to denigrate the Caldari people."
Says the guy that went on a genocidal murder spree on Clone Mercenaries and just a few years ago decided to start auctioning off captured Gallente Space.
Done with this guy, I really am. |

Pfhahaha.
Heth's one to talk about racism. That bastard's a member of the the Templis f***ing Dragonaurs. Those goons have all been holding onto a two hundred year old grudge that ought to have ended ages ago.
It's a real shame that cloner that tried to pop him wasn't a better shot. New Eden would be a better place without trash like Heth in power. |

I actually was there for Blaque's speech (happened to be two jumps away and decided to show up)...I don't recall anything really racist about it; more or less it was a speech on how the people needed to report suspicious activity to the Black Eagles in this time of war and do your part as loyal citizens...of course there was some remarks against the Caldari, but there's a war going on...The bigger issue brought up from the audience was the potential "police state" that could occur from having people report others and possibly giving up rights and all...
I was actually expecting someone to start a fight (especially after what happened to the Minmatar convoy), but nothing happened; was really peaceful and the conversations were generally respectful. |

Nothing hypocritical about it - I never claimed to be a pacifist. The Caldari were always the aggressors in my eyes, right down to the selling of our homeworld, Intaki. |

I'm not particularly fold of Heth also - and it seems that an opportunity has arisen for us mercenaries to strike him.
"CCP Eterne" wrote:Workers in the Caldari State are finally beginning to get fed up with the actions (and inactions) of Tibus Heth. His own corporation, Kaalakiota, is failing to act on many of the promises he made when he came into power, while his coldhearted stomping of corporate rights has driven down share prices that his workers rely on for their future.
However, with his mind focused on defeating the Federation and seeing enemies everywhere after the attempt on his life, Heth won't tolerate any dissent, even from the people who helped vault him into power. As the workers travel to New Caldari Prime to protest in front of the Chief Executive Panel, Heth unleashes the State Peacekeepers to disperse them. The workers, however, are prepared...
They have hired Expert Intervention to protect them. A firefight breaks out between the two sides and both issue contracts to independent mercs to assist them.
Starting today at 16:00 GMT you will find multiple contracts issued in the "Mercenary" tab of the battle finder between the State Peacekeepers (Attackers) and Expert Intervention (Defenders). The matches will continue to 18:00 GMT. The outcome of these matches will help determine the direction of the storyline. |

Greetings from New Caldari!
I'm an independent mercenary contracted by elements within the Kaalakiota Corporation to serve as protection during their demonstration on the planet.
In my briefing, I was assured that the demonstration was supposed to be peaceful, and that at no point was I to open fire upon any Provist forces or property, unless it was to defend myself. Apparently, this demonstration was the last straw in the eyes of my employers, many of whom are simple factory workers tired of getting the runaround from the Chief Executive Panel of the State.
Unfortunately, things haven't gone as planned. The demonstration never even started. The State Peacekeepers opened fire on us as soon as we stepped out of the dropship.
Kaalakiota has informed me that I'll receive an additional stipend if I protect their workers while they leave the planet. So it looks like Heth really wants these people dead. Odd, don't you think? This is exactly the kind of situation that brought Heth into power in the first place. And now he's stepping all over the people who were once his most ardent supporters.
Oh well, I can't say I'm sad to see the State in turmoil. My family on Luminaire would be proud to see me now, I can tell you that much! |

The Caldari People are free to work as hard as they please for as much as they want to attain - so long as it's peaceful and in their own empire. They betrayed that peace whenever the State Protectorate invaded sovereign Gallente lands, right up to our homeworld.
We Gallente are all for culture and peaceful amends, but as an Intaki I am not so willing to just drop past grievances. Rest assured, they will pay for their capture of Intaki and likewise it's selling, if not by the Federation than by people like me. |

He can't actually use clone tech, because he has Miner's Disease, which causes the buildup of silicates in the brain region in later stages, so if he tried to transfer himself, it's likely he wouldn't make it through, or he'd simply make it through missing a huge part of his mind. I almost feel bad for him, because this disease actually does affect your thought processes, which is why he's become more irrational of late.

A Hound piloted by my Mercs extracted a group of six protestors as they withdrew from the conflict with hopes of getting them to a medical facility on their way back to Gelfiven. The Team broadcast in local comms that they had wounded Caldari citizens and wanted to transfer their care over to CONCORD, the local Navy or anyone in the area that could dock. Instead of receiving assistance Provist warships began a game of cat and mouse with my team, trying to destroy the Hound.
When it became clear that the net was closing and that the team could not stay in system any longer waiting for someone to help the Caldari aboard they made the jump to Piak, where finally locals expressed that they would help. As they were awaiting a pilot to transfer care too the Provists once more engaged the Hound, knowing full well their own citizens were aboard and wounded and awaiting transfer. This time our Hound did not escape the attack, and those who chose to speak out against their own governments actions were silenced forever.
I have docked my Mercs pay for the next several months due to the fact that they did not follow standard policy of immediately putting wounded civilians into a medical capsule that could have been jettisoned and we as an organization will look at how to better have handled this. Furthermore we will try and locate the civilians families and make monetary compensations for our failures, but this is the price you pay when you allow a man like Mr Heth to govern you Caldari. |

"Strength of will." That's cute. I bet it took strength of will to accept the Broker's pretty little offer of a brand spanking new mega corp, huh? And don't try to deny that. Everyone knows it was the Broker. No one else in New Eden would buy an entire corp in the middle of a coup and then shove it into the lap of an MTAC op.
And your respect? Who respects Tibus Heth? The only event I've ever had associated with his name, before just recently, was the slaughter of millions of Gallente citizens. Now he's having his ships bombard his own planets, his soldiers are firing on unarmed civvies, and while all that's going on, you're sitting here and talking about how great everything is.
Not even the Minmatar fell to this kind of crap when Midular dissolved the whole God damned government. Get your **** together. |

You also don't kill someone recognized by many as a hero of the people. The guy who won the medal of honor in the US recently should have been dishonourably discharged for insuborination, but he saved lives and was a hero, so he obviously can't be removed.

At the very least Heth needs to be kicked from office due to his ongoing crimes against the Caldari people and his ever-increasing mental instability, and there are plenty of Gallente more than willing to risk themselves to end his life due to his crimes against them.
It is good to note that just because someone is a highly respected hero doesn't mean they can't become a villain to the people who 'worship' them. If your hero suddenly started to kill his supporters, would he really be your hero much longer? |
