This is great. I can't wait until we announce NEXT week's event and the cool stuff we have planned for it.

Workers in the Caldari State are finally beginning to get fed up with the actions (and inactions) of Tibus Heth. His own corporation, Kaalakiota, is failing to act on many of the promises he made when he came into power, while his coldhearted stomping of corporate rights has driven down share prices that his workers rely on for their future.

However, with his mind focused on defeating the Federation and seeing enemies everywhere after the attempt on his life, Heth won't tolerate any dissent, even from the people who helped vault him into power. As the workers travel to New Caldari Prime to protest in front of the Chief Executive Panel, Heth unleashes the State Peacekeepers to disperse them. The workers, however, are prepared...

They have hired Expert Intervention to protect them. A firefight breaks out between the two sides and both issue contracts to independent mercs to assist them.

Starting today at 16:00 GMT you will find multiple contracts issued in the "Mercenary" tab of the battle finder between the State Peacekeepers (Attackers) and Expert Intervention (Defenders). The matches will continue to 18:00 GMT. The outcome of these matches will help determine the direction of the storyline.

I'm an independent mercenary contracted by elements within the Kaalakiota Corporation to serve as protection during their demonstration on the planet.

In my briefing, I was assured that the demonstration was supposed to be peaceful, and that at no point was I to open fire upon any Provist forces or property, unless it was to defend myself. Apparently, this demonstration was the last straw in the eyes of my employers, many of whom are simple factory workers tired of getting the runaround from the Chief Executive Panel of the State.

Unfortunately, things haven't gone as planned. The demonstration never even started. The State Peacekeepers opened fire on us as soon as we stepped out of the dropship.

Kaalakiota has informed me that I'll receive an additional stipend if I protect their workers while they leave the planet. So it looks like Heth really wants these people dead. Odd, don't you think? This is exactly the kind of situation that brought Heth into power in the first place. And now he's stepping all over the people who were once his most ardent supporters.

Oh well, I can't say I'm sad to see the State in turmoil. My family on Luminaire would be proud to see me now, I can tell you that much!

Hey, entirely plausible being as he's the only faction leader dumb enough to not have clone tech.

He'd -STAY- dead.

He can't actually use clone tech, because he has Miner's Disease, which causes the buildup of silicates in the brain region in later stages, so if he tried to transfer himself, it's likely he wouldn't make it through, or he'd simply make it through missing a huge part of his mind. I almost feel bad for him, because this disease actually does affect your thought processes, which is why he's become more irrational of late.

I give him a year. By then, he'll either be dead or have stepped down.

I think u should look to your own leaders before criticizing ours . After all a cowardly pacifist a dithering council or a schizophrenic noble are hardly perfect examples of leadership .

Its painfully obvious non of them would have the strength of will to do what Tibus Heth has done for his people .

Heath has given us our dignity and respect back ! He has taken power away from the greedy and given it to the people. And we in return have shown our appreciation buy making him our supreme commander .

We caldari do not need or ask for the decadent luxury's that others crave .We seek only the chance to work hard and be a asset to the nation .

We have begun to claim back that which was once ours and that which rightfully belongs to us and we shall continue to do so despite the protests of the weak willed .

If you've got yourself a mad dog, put it down.

You also don't kill someone recognized by many as a hero of the people. The guy who won the medal of honor in the US recently should have been dishonourably discharged for insuborination, but he saved lives and was a hero, so he obviously can't be removed.

Same goes for Heth.

P.S. Honestly, I'm still waiting for the invisible hand behind Heth that is the Broker to show up in one of the events. Wish it would be storming one of his stations...
