I just want info about updates

Im feeling positive about the day. Im on a mission to get fox four 2,000 likes before fanfest because well his interactions and trolling were both well done.

I made a post about my position on AUR proto suits. It's my opinion and im glad to see there is actual debate over it and not mindless flamewar, though i do see some complaint threads about what people interpret our threads to be as complaint threads.


I think we had meaninful discussion on the state of locus nades and wheter it should be removed or if kept if it should be "tweaked" based on its contact detonation (which is worse than the player complaints over 2s nade timer a month ago). I expect to see A LOT of threads on this one over the next few weeks so everyone should brace themselves cause you know its coming.

But maybe this was what we needed a little shakeup to get us to wake up and see that passionate spark back in our community. All in all less troll, hate, nonsense threads today and more threads on critical gameplay issues and DEV responses to them.

I wonder if the reason why we are getting so much dev interaction today is because they have just finish work on whatever new build they are going to be implementing SOON tm?

The lack of info on future stuff doesnt bother me too much. We all know its coming at some point, but I really enjoy the dev. Interaction!

Allow me to give you a quick summary of what happened today
CCP FoxFour decided to take a break from work and come on the forums
he trolled us repeatedly and gave a few good points on some threads
we gave him 600 likes for it

After reading some of the topics today, i am trying to think of different ways to better some of the features of dust. I also feel more engage into Dust now.

Such a day marks the beginning of a revolution. If we can maintain this sort of interaction with the Devs and players this game will surely succeed. I enjoyed reading a few of the ideas the Devs described. I could tell that most of you dusters enjoyed this as well. What incidents made your day today? It felt like the devs really connected with us and made it feel as tho we were in the studio with them working side by side.

Now lets help the Devs out by making more constructive threads about fixes we want to see.
When you make a nerf thread just stop yourself and change the title to something else so the Devs can realize that what ever needs work on, just needs a touch-up job with a scalpel. Please explain why there is a problem and describe your ways on fixing it. Don't take trolling to heart just laugh and state your opinions more.

Now, i believe we should have more days like this. Maybe once or twice a week to keep us involved. I'm pretty sure this cant be done on a daily basis but once or twice a week will really be enough.

All that happened is that the forum was getting rancid from bored players. That's not the PR image that CCP wants to project. So Peter simply picked up the phone and reminded the Dust guys of their marketing obligations. A couple of them wandered by to throw you some scraps but nothing else.
