So for now I have a Myron with the current modules:
-2 Scattered Blasters -Mobile CRU -2 PG Upgrades -Militia Shield Booster -Militia Shield Extender -Militia Shield Resistance
I'm trying to stuff in 3 shield extenders and a armor repairer but it just seems impossible due to low PG of the Myron. My Combat Engineering skill is around level 2. I already tried the afterburner and it didn't helped me escape swarm launchers in time, got 1-shot. I'm expecting to survive enough hits so I can go back to the red line and land to recharge shields/armor. Help!!!!

Have multiple fittings. You don't always need the CRU and it frees up a lot of cash/resources to not use it. I never use shield resistance, preferring to just extend shields as hard as I can so I have enough to survive the first few attacks.
Try the afterburner again once the CRU is removed. Speed will save your life so much more than tanking yourself up will. Have enough shields to take the first couple of shots while you hit the afterburner and return to base for repairs.
If you have to run a CRU for a specific situation, you're going to have to use flight skill to counter the reduced survivability. |

But the CRU is the best way to get the blueberries onto my ship!!! It's also very good for skirmish since I can hover above cleared null cannons so they can drop to hack them. I'm using the resistance amplifier because I can't equip another shield extender. :( |

Okay first thing you're going to do is to leave your dropships alone, and then grind sp until you have c-engineering and circuitry maxed or at lv4 minimum, you will also want to increase your sp in shield boost , shield control and well basically every single shield skill except the shield transporter, that's up to you. Once you have your base skills in a respectable state we start on the fitting.
Now if you've upgraded most of the shield and powergrid skills to at least lv2 you can dump all of the militia modules, this is a must those things just use up way too much pg/cpu. Your blasters are good and are entirely your choice so we can ignore them, you're gonna need at least one pg upgrade on your DS. now shield extenders are very important for myrons, you should always have at least 1 preferably 2, but again it's your fitting you choose, a shield resistance amp can be very useful and drain nothing from your pg so we're good there. Now you get a choice here of going with a booster or a hardener, boosters give you a quick shield boost while hardeners massively decrease the damage your shields receive and when combined with a shield amp can effectively neutralize swarm damage, they do however have a downside in that they only last for 10 seconds and have a decent sized cool down. now i have to say you need an armour repper, i recommend the "IGL light armour regenerator" it has the lowest pg cost of any armour rep which helps a lot. you might want to lose the MCRU as well, they can be useful but they use a lot of pg and don't help you survive, you can replace them with an afterburner if you want or another extender.
But that's just my advice, your gonna want to play around with your fittings until you find something that suits your flight style

Yup I bought that armor repairer. I definitely need to work on the shield and CPU/PG skills if I want to equip all of those things. Thanks man. |

BTW, last match I got 15 kills from the dropship gunners, around 525 WP. I was hovering inside the buildings with a very good precision to not crash into them. Got shot down by forge gun but it did resist standard swarm launchers. I guess I can now be considered a good pilot. :P |

Max Circuitry and Combat Engineering, get your enhancements to level 1 at least so you can have access to lower CPU/PG mods.
Drop your CRU they are detrimental, get rid of PG Upgrades, you won't need them with maxed combat engineering. |

Before posting here I landed on a guy that was swarm launching me whole match I believe. It was a pretty awesome kill, unfortunately I landed so hard the Myron exploded in flames lol. Technically it wasn't a crash since I was attempting to land very slowly. It was pretty funny. |

Railguns are lethal especially the installations, if you get hit your almost certain to die even with a good fitting |

It might not help. What kind of a tank was it? Proto rail tanks can do a huge amount of damage. |

I ditched the CRU. I'm learning to land near blueberries and I have been able to make some of them hop in. Right now the dropship has 3 shield extenders (militia). Can't wait to get the high tier ones. |

So I finally got enough SP to get the low PG Shield Extenders. With my current skills I was able to fit 3 of them and the low PG armor repairer with a PG upgrade. One high module slot goes to either a shield regenerator or resistance amplifier since I have 504/505 PG atm, so ******* lucky. I have around 3400 HP in shields, once I get the Scattered Neutron Blasters I shall be considered OP. A flying tank. |

I'm armor tanking my dropship and can keep the CRU since it's a high slot/doesn't interfere with my armor and I have to PG/CPU for it as an addition, not a substitute. Don't underestimate that thing's worth. |

Okay first of all you should never use militia gear it will end up wasting your money and simply isn't effective enough. Secondly you need to be aware dropships are not tanks they will never have a high amount of PG CPU for heavy modules they will also never hold a lot of shield or armor. I have barely seen anyone use them for there actual intended purpose which is delivering troops parts to the battlefield, most people think they are going to get a kill streak of 30 in ten minutes. Lesson learned hard I can three hit or even two hit this drop ship, work on at least meta 1 modules get your combat engineering and circuitry to level 5 then start with speed modules.
good luck |

For my myron I use 3 astropic extenders and a light clarity booster with 2 power diognostic systems and I rarely get shot down for my turrets I fit an At1 cycled missile launcher and a neutron blaster either stabalised for the zoom or scattered for the damage I only use crus in corp fights and only use hardners on my gunlogi and if your shield tanking forget the armour repair as a good shiekd tanker rarely or never hangs round long enough to get down to their armour |
