There have been countless times when I look at the chat and see people looking for a squad or asking a question ... and it's very hard to determine whether or not it was a recent message or a message from hours ago.
I've gotten accustomed to typing things like "LFS 12:15" just so people can have an idea of what time i posted and how long ive been waiting, or if they should ignore the message because it was posted too long ago.
It doesnt have to be a timestamp that clutters the chat, it could just be " (10:32) " next to the name like when youre using an Instant Messenger service on your PC. |

just use mins past the hr since hour stamp will get confusing without a timezone. |

yep i really whant timestamps in chat and we to get it whit Gmt and it be good to have a little clock too so it was easier to everyone to have the reel hour whitout starting to calculate and adjust whit regular hour and advance hour ......
soon lot of NA ppl start to be 1 hour to late because we advance the clock really soon |

I agree it should be synchronized with EVE time. The only drawback i see is the space it would take up in the chat window and make it feel more cluttered than it is already.
