Most of us came to the game expecting massive galactic conquest and to make a difference in New Eden, and now...A lot of us would just settle for "New Maps". "Maps" As they are should be irrelevant to the game as a whole, considering that we're supposed to be fighting on different planets/districts, and now...It's becoming more and more obvious that CCP is either downright ignoring us, or is being held captive by game-hating monkey dictators. I honestly am starting to lose faith in the idea that they're even here, listening, working, which is ridiculous since nothing excited me more than DUST. For months, I learned everything I could about EVE. From its gameplay to its lore, so that I at least had a semblance of knowledge of what was going on in the vast universe. I went to the EVE forums, reading their Intergalactic Summit threads, and learning terminology such as "Carebear" and "Pewpew". But I feel as if I'm being let down, the game feels like little more than a more detailed version of CoD, which, is the only thing bringing me back (The knowledge that as far as fps games go, there isn't much better) but I feel like coming back is worthless since, I could just get the passive SP and come back when the game is good. If it ever gets good. So I ask you all, my fellow DUSTers: Where. The Hell. Is CCP?

I wouldn't jump the gun buddy, the game is still in Beta and they have HUGE plans for Dust 514, just like all the things they've done for EVE. Just give it time bud and report bugs and just be part of the community. In due time this game will shape up into something even more epic than it already is.

Well it's nice to know that they're still on Earth at least. With how much effort and communication they seem to be giving us I wasn't so sure anymore.

I assume they are working but who knows they could have all takn another 2 week holiday to pat themselves on the back for ccoming back to the office after a two week holiday...

I'm hoping so, I promised I'd stay at least up until Fanfest, but if nothing is done by then...Well I dunno.

It seems feasible, I understand going on vacation when your New Year rolls around, but at least make an effort to get slow progress going on the promises you've made or else...Don't be surprised when the population decreases.

They have said multiple times that they are working on about a 3 month release cycle for major builds, and if my memory is correct it's been about 3 months since the last major build.

I mean you don't make a game like eve withiut being slightly sadistic in nature. But ill stick with dust until the end hoping for moar stuff and ways to murder internet mercenaries. Please ccp ill donate all my tears if it gets you working faster!!!!

I feel like when there is silence it's because they already have there update almost ready for release. They will release that then comment on the fixes and address our problems on that build, as oppossed to talking about something they have already fixed for the next build. I just think back to the closed beta when we had basically on map and we played it over and over. There has been a lot add thus far and more to come. Also we have basically as much as other games 7/8 maps and about 25 guns, plus we have corp matches that basically allow gambling. If this was the game and it was free as it is I would be satisfied. We need to give CCP some credit and patience. If you need to leave for a bit then that is what you gotta do, but I could bet most of you will be back. Personally I left for about a month or so and had to come back. It is to good of a game in my opinion. Plus if they are taking this much vacation, can you blame them. If your job offered vacation time I'm sure all of you complaining about this would say" No, I'm going to stay here and work and burn myself out and not enjoy this one life I have". Doubt it, we would all take that va-ca, unless you are a workaholic and then you have bigger demons. TL;DR: DON'T PANIC
