Eurogamer, I think so.

Sucks, so few events come our way. Now, when I lived in Las Vegas, that was an entirely different story. Should have told us earlier...the whole company was in Puerto Vallarta on a company fun trip two years ago :D We've never been to game shows in Mexico before at least but we're regularly in Los Angeles and San Fransisco and hopefully some day we'll have reason to visit San Diego.
Please do let all of us know when you guys are in the San Francisco Area, It would be a joy to finally meet the team. |

Boston huh too far for me. But like kain, if you could do something in Atlanta GA, or maybe Nashville or Knoxville TN would be perfect. Don't get much stuff like that close to here. Would totally show up if so.

Another reason for CCP to attend PAX West... Washington State legalized 'Herb' for recreation use, and we have great beer in the Pacific Northwest! |

We have 10 days to this event, I must admit I'm more then a little excited. What with the booze and the DEV's. (In that order.) However I find myself asking, is there any way you guys can drag CCP Blam along? If only for the pub crawl, as i don't have PAX tickets. While i realize my request carries little to no weight, and this is a short notice. There are some questions I wish to pose to him questions from several of my previously Drop Ship focused Corp mates, and current Tankers.
Edit: Yes Tritan has a question pool for the rest of you as well. Both EVE and Dust side... Mostly Dust. |

Am i Kitten out of luck, and should drunkenly attempt to circumnavigate the shaved apes at the door?
I think you should try that! Make sure you call them "shaved apes" to their faces!
please note: I do not think you should try that. |

I was able to snag a PAX East Sunday pass at the last minute this afternoon! Can't wait to see you guys there.
I wasn't able to register for the after party at Jillian's on Saturday in time though, any chance you'll be accommodating walk-ins? Space permitting of course but I'd love to step in for a no-show ;)
Thanks in advance! |

Ok... so usually the general rule in Boston is no Sneakers. Jillian's apparently has a "no boots rule". I go up, with a nice jacket, nice ironed collard shirt, and nice ironed khaki pants w/a crease. I had nice boots on too. -__-
Anyways, there was a kid who was trying to get in with only a college ID, so the guy @ the front told me the manager was coming if I wanted to wait. I said fine. The manager comes, tells the other guy that he can't use his college ID to get in. Then he asked me if I had no ID too. I did and showed it to him and he let me in. Kind of weird that I got stopped in the first place -.- At least the kid @ the front who stopped me said he was new and only had been working there for a few days.
After getting in, I looked around for CCP. Could not find. Asked a guy there, and apparently CCP is there tomorrow (lol reading dates ftl).
Dress Code
Enforced after 8 PM
Gentlemen are required to remove their hats or headgear after 8:00 pm No athletic wear, sweats or wind pants No sleeveless tGÇôshirts No construction, work or Timberland style boots
Jillian's has changed. Now there's a few game machines on the outside of the room. It used to be filled with games, and had awesome Virtual Reality machines. It used to be the kind of place where you were overdressed if you were wearing clean clothes...
I did get a nice "GO BRUINS" stamp on my hand for the "Yes, I'm 21" thing. I got a drink before I left too. I asked the guy what was on tap. He said, "Bud light... Miller light... Coors light; // facepalm"
I should have asked if he had something nice like Guinness on tap @.@ Sam Addams' is pretty good in Boston too (they outsource to regional breweries, so if it is bad in another part of the country, it can taste very different here.)
There are some sweet craft beer places around if you're looking for the really good stuff too. |

^______^ Thanks!
I'm sure there will be many more in the future. I heard PAX East went well. There are definitely more FPS console gamers who are looking for a great FPS game. I guess this is feedback, but imo many console gamers are tired of CoD XIII, BF VII, etc, etc. Dust seems well positioned to get more of us playing! |

Austin would probably be the best bet out of those listed. We're the "weird" city, and Austin caters to large gatherings quite frequently. (SXSW, ACL, ComiCon, DragonCon, etcCon) As for the bar-hopping, I'm sure 6th street would cover any needs for inebriation.
I would love to see some CCP at the next SXSW (I didn't go this year, so apologies if you were present, and I missed it.)
Also, if Austin is too congested, Cedar Park is just outside the city limits, and they have a brand new Expo center that we could pack. (not sure on the booze situation in Cedar Park though.)
