People do farm Sp until they reach the weekly cap and then play for the 1000SP per match or don't play at all. Then I thought about a game: MGO (Metal Gear Online). It had a kind of system, the badge system, that weekly updates a badge below your name in matches. It had an "eagle" badge for people that used to headshot a lot, a "bear" badge for people that do a lot of cqc etc. but it had negative badges too such as "sloth" (subject to being "headshotted") and chicken. It is Important imho to give a "reward" for good players that highlights its abilities (sniper, assaulter, good assaulter, nova knifer etc.) and it would solve the problem of afk sp farming by giving them a "bad" "chicken" badge (It can be anything else anyway). What you guys think about it? I'd love to see this kind of badge system in dust too. |

This should be labeled abuse and purpose the said toon to get banned and the whole account wiped of all sp, isk, equipment, and a two week ban. |

Or how about no weekly cap, the cap is to give new players a chance but in reality it doesn't stop progression just slows it down. Who is to say a new player a new from now won't get destroyed by veterans are they going to halt the SP gain until that newby can catch up? SP cap is flawed in the long run. It is inevitable to have players who don't play for 1k and idle or players who dont play after cap since doing so is just a waste of time. |
