After seeing the previews for Killzone 4 and Destiny, i think it's pretty obvious that DUST 514 needs a big update/revelation before the release of the PS4 in november. DUST definitely has the potential to be better than both of those games combined, but it needs something that can keep people interested until the ps4 comes out.
I think CCP will surprise us at E3 2013, but they'll really have to compete with stuff like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqVN_O4CHWY |

DUST really hasn't had much competition considering the majority of shooters today are complete and utter crap. Sony has some great games in the pipeline, and CCP's feet are now held to the fire. Hopefully they will be able to turn a free to play C grade shooter into a great game. I've been here for a year and the lack of progress on this game has me concerned. |

Honestly, I really think that CCP has plans for Dust 514 on the PS4 that will amaze us.
Plus keep in mind, CCP has stated they have a 5+ year roadmap for this game. I think that there is a bunch of awesome stuff they haven't shown us yet.  |

Destiny will be on PS4 as well. As will DUST.
CCP won't let this game die on PS3, a port/upgrade over to PS4 will obviously happen. |
