Sounds absurd I know, since there is no friendly fire on the game, but it does happen. Since my team was losing, a few douche-bag players decided to ran over their own teammates, I was ran over by them twice, destroyed my first Dropship after hitting ground with the Light Vehicle, and stole the second Dropship that landed after killing me with the vehicle.
Now what happened to me on that battle REALLY pissed ME OFF so much, it isn't relevant. But what is relevant is a way to KICK OUT players who KILL their own TEAMMATES. Most FPS does have an option where if you get killed by your own teammate, you can choose to kick them out of the game, or a way to punish such players. |

I actually like this feature. I have a team on skirmish, was losing bad, looked at my map and 6 guys never even left the red line sniping. Two were just barely out of the red line camping on turrets. That's half the team trying to pad kdr not even trying to help take obj's. So I helped their perfect games by calling in a free lav and team killed the pussies that were playing a team based game but only wanted to have perfect high kdr's. |

The problem is your playing with randoms not squad mates who know better then to do these things. I love it when they try and run in to my double resistance plate tank and get a surprise. I have even re backed up into players who tried to destroy my tank and smashed them to bits in side their jeep. I am guilty of destroying one allies jeep though I laughed a lot feel a bit bad about it now though. There is absolutely no better feeling though then destroying a team killer makes me feel like I am untouchable by the trolls. |

I'm not asking to lessen or take out friendly fire altogether, but add a feature where you can KICK OUT players who KILL YOU, or punish them, for example, the team killer loses the exact amount of ISK on the dropsuit that they killed or vehicle they destroyed, and that money goes back to the victim. Makes people think twice before they decide to be such assholes. |

2 things,
1st, SPIES! They're in the game to help their mates win. Maybe that's why your team was losing, not because you were losing.
2nd, I won't run em over, but tend to empty a few shots and grenades into my teammates who are good for nothing stupids who sit by the base, leaving me to run alone into a hail of fire while 10 people sit in the hills doing squat. Thanks by the way, now I know how to genuinely kill the stupids. :D |

I like the idea of being able to kick bad team mates but this function would be open to abuse unfortunately in games like mag I have been booted from games just because I wasn't part of someone's clan and they wanted space for one of their team mates now normally do I wouldn't object but when your going 13/0 and get booted to make room for someone else that's not fair and dont and the think it wouldn't happen hear . Also I how do you decide what's a bad player as when I'm out squading with my corp we often have a very capable scout watch our backs form just about the redline sometimes our scouts go 0/0 but provide valuable intell for our squad . Or if our rail tanker is out it might not look like he is doing much sitting way back but I can assure you he's normally busy destroying installations and any vehicle unlucky enough to cross his path . To summarise its hard to decide what a bad player is if you haven't tried to communicate with them so the ability to boot bad players be it a good idea can and will be open to abuse so as much as we don't like the useless blueberries we have to put up with them think of them as the private gomer piles of our universe and then you realise they are better of away form the front line where they wont make your team loose by being cloned |

Had a situation where some blueberry got mad because I wouldn't jump my HMG butt into his LAV to let him take me somewhere away from my squad, so he kept driving through the compound trying to run us over. Our only regret was not being able to effectively retaliate without having to waste the time to call in an LAV of our own to ram him with. |

If you guys seriously think that going around executing people who don't play the way you want them to will help the game.
Its poorly thought out with little thought of the consiquences for yourselves. All it will do is make you feel better and make the opposite team LOL as thier enemies tear themselves a part. Or worst still organised corps will dominate instant battle with the ability to plant a squad in the opposite side and act as blue "enemies" running around killing people indiscriminately. The forum whinage will reach jita, and block out the stars.
Friendly fire should only ever be a part of the upper tiers of game play (corporate, null sec and low sec warfare). Allowing it to happen in noob fights will just drive people away including the people who asked for it in the first place.

BAD BAD idea, afterall its a common sight seeing smurfs plow LAVs into their own teams HAVs on purpose (or out of control), so if this was implemented then ppl would be equippin top end suits and LAVs just to troll HAV drivers makin them lose all their ISK. |

Its always a good idea until it happens to you. When 1/2 to 2/3 of my team are grouped around the first letter only, from the start of the game is when I go on a bender. My way of playing skirmish is to attack/ defend a majority of the letters to win, which is the way to win, but the previous mentioned players are defending a single obj together, not a possible way to win. This causes me isk due to the few of us trying to wiin are grossly outnumbered by the reds on the field. I take my isk seriously, and if you cause me to lose it due to you being zero help on the battlefield, just trying to pad your kdr in a team objective game, then it is my right to equate that lose of isk and deaths you caused me back onto you. This is not an attempt to grief, but is attempt to make bad players realize what they are doing is fundamentally wrong (as well as revenge). Ive done this to players and some have got of their asses and joined the real battle, were they have recieved ammo, reps, and picked back up. For me its eye for an eye, then forgive and forget. |

I always thought a bad player was some one who didnt know how to stop running and gunning of course thats my opinion. You think that a defensive player is bad because he doesnt keep running back and fourth between objectives which of course is your opinion NOT A FACT! |

Skirmish is a game of offense, if you're playing defense before you control the majority of objectives you are plain old doing it wrong and part of the "blueberry" problem. It IS your fault if your team can't cap other objectives if you aren't HELPING do so.
Again, there is no tactical reason to play "defense" in skirmish until your team has the distinct control advantage, and playing defnese before that is the case makes your team less successful. |
