HMGs should be cutting people in half instead of spraying people down with these pathetic little pellets. Increase the HMG's firepower and maybe the CPU and PG usage to balance things out.

That's the thing it takes no skill, but if I'm firing my HMG with an identical heavy with an AR, the AR wins. His bullets have far less drop off so all he has to do is aim for my head.

They have to reload in 60 shots (Big opening to charge) and there hitbox is huge for our HMG to just pulverize them at the same distances assaults use AR to destroy us. I can't think of any reason to lose to an AR heavy other then he got too much distance on you and the ground between you two was open field.

I always rock an AR and I either have to jump around and get to cover or just run like hell when faced with a half-decent HMG user. If I root to the spot and trade shots I wouldn't expect to come out on top.

The ability to fit additional complex damage mods on the lower-tier assault suits means they put out a very intimidating amount of DPS. It'll be better once the diminishing returns on damage mods work properly, right now they straight up add together, so two complex mods gets you 20%, when it should be getting you something closer to 18%, and stacking three will get you 30%, when it should also be lower. Suits fitted with a GEK or proto AR and large amounts of damage mods can almost go toe-to-toe with the HMG because of the broken returns.

If there's a problem with the suit - it's ADV and PROTO suck.

So If they nerf the HMG, and leave the suits as is, they may as well take the heavy + HMG class out of the game imo. Edit: by crappy suit, I mean, the price you're paying for a proto suit and what you're getting for it, makes no sense. You pay 200+k ISK extra for an extra high slot (from B series) and a little CPU.
