Starter pack its more than likely that it has AUR related items not new content and being $9.99 it wont be as beefy as the merc parck. But we'll have to wait and see. |

All expansions for dust will be free as it is with eve, and on release if they go for dust model will be 2 a year, there will never be optionally dlc like there is in games like cod and battlefield as it splits the player base and causes division which ccp never wants they want everyone to be able to play everyone
But that isnt what this is, the starter pack is just free gear (free if your psn+) the qustion is what gear.
I can imagine it will contain at least one skill booster just a small one mind a couple days of passive skillboost or something along those lines and then a dropsuit bpo

Yeah, like other people said, this is not an expansion or COD/BF3 type DLC with new maps and game modes.
This is most likely a cheaper Merc Pack that has some AUR and maybe some SP boosters. |

Playstation Plus is the best deal I've ever come across. I was skeptical at first, but these last 3 months, I've gotten 10 new games and I've spent $0.00. The deal is that ludicrous. |

Im in same situation though being PSN+ has meant I now have to spend money buying a new larger harddrive so i can store all these new games (although the cost of that is still 1/10 of the cost of all freebies i have gotten ) |

Same here dude, my 320GB is down to 30 GB's left. Oh and I lied about spending $0 in my previous post, I spent $1.99 on a PS+ deal for the original Jak and Daxter game for the PS2.  |

Is not free since PS+ members pay 50$ a year(best deal). So technically Sony is fronting some of the money and ccp will get paid if PS+ members download it. |

This sounds interesting. I'm curious to see how the PS+ deal will work or if that hints at what it is. Being a free item I'm wondering if it is something you can only get once or if they track it so only the first "purchase" is free.
Plenty of people buy multiple merc packs so if this is similar I would guess we will see the same.
Also, I imagine a lot of people will get at least the 3 month PS+ subscription ($18) for this, so Sony will be happy. |

PS+ is awesome by itself, but if you have a Vita it's even better. One PS+ membership covers both devices, each with their own free game catalog, discounts, etc. Freaking fantastic.
Odds are the booster will only be free once. it would be insane to do otherwise. PS+ members would be stock piling hundreds of the damned things. |

This pack isn't a reason to get PS+
PS+ is the reason to get PS+. I've never been happier with a paid for service. :D

There's precedent in this thread for free PS+ packs being limited to one per person
