HMGs are getting nerfed this time around. Wait until next build to start crying about shotguns. HMGs counter class is broken atm so HMG being OP is a much bigger problem. Whats the counter for scouts? LOL its both heavy and assault classes. Yet the crybaby heavies will cry about shotguns when every other class has several counters.

The hmgs are being "looked into". We all know what that means. Its nerf or nothing! Spool time+Range nerf=crying fat children.
Range on shotguns are OP but its heavies turn to get hit in the face with the nerf chainsaw. Its a never ending cycle. After shotguns get nerfed ARs or MDs will be OP again ect ect.
CCP has a case of cyclonic imperfect imbalance. Instead of perfect imbalance. It all started with the strafe nerf making scouts useless against heavies and breaking the rock paper scissors effect. Now ccp is just chasing their own tale with this balance problem. |

I already have to deal with the negatives of being a heavy. I can't move/strafe for ****, and I'm a giant target. I've seen assault suits dance around the battlefield, heavies are a snipers wet dream. The instant a heavy tries to run from a fight, he's f*ck'ed. They have no choice but to soak up damage and try to deal more out at the same time, hence the HMG. Heavy suits are best used for QCQ where they can force 1 on 1s, that doesn't mean the same has to apply to their weapons. Are we going to nerf Forge Guns, so they're only effective point blank, as well? No you are right. HMGs should be able to force 1 vs 1 from across the map with a 5000 dps bonus. Get a grip kid. Maybe if you speced into something that had a deeper skill pool you wouldn't have to deal with that.
LOL at you for using a 1 demensional class and then complaining about it.
ARs should outrange HMGs. |

If they reduce the range on the HMG the only thing that would make it better than the AR is the fire-rate, which is just slightly more than twice what it is. INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH The HMG does HALF the damage of the AR. Thereby, you'd be making it a shorter ranged Assault Rifle with a big magazine and a really slow user. Thereby, you're just complaining. And a huge hitbox unlike the AR. HMG is easy mode. The range is getting nerfed. Time to get over it and move on crybabies. Shotgun is the new OP. |
