I can see all your points. Sorry for getting a little heated but there are simply too many threads on this forum where people only ask CCP to hurry up.

I believe this is exactly why they say its in beta.....

True, to a point. However like i said in my OP, if you cant take waiting and are really that impatient dont rant about how it would be more convenient for you to have it now. I dont see how you think that telling them to hurry up is helping them....

never been called smug before. As for self superior...dude, were all dusters. The only reasons i hate posts like this is that what does it really do? OK we got it hurry up, ive seen probably one or two good replies in this thread that actually address this issue in a way that might actually help the CCP team with their development. I look at the game everyday and i see possibilities, my head spins with all the new ideas that could come from this game. I see how pretty my dropship looks and how CCP has fixed some of the mechanics that made them ineffective. I see my corp growing and myself meeting new people form around the world. I see a game that has changed the game for FPS and given it meaning. I cant go back to cod or halo, they simply dont have any meaning, they are just arcade shooters. and i think thats why you wont go back either, games just too deep and interesting. And i get why you want more content NOW, but guys, really, they just merged two MMO's into one massive constantly evolving galaxy, and you say they have made hardly any progress...

All of these are why i think they still have it in beta....
They are not "charging" players. This is a F2P, if you want to buy some aur to support CCP then im sure they would appreciate.
Have you concidered that maybe they are spending more time on diving down into the muck to tackle the issues your concerned about? How maybe they ARE trying to avoid the same mistakes by taking slow and really working on its core? Hey i could be wrong, CSM dust minutes arent out so who knows!
They are going into uncharted waters, to my knowledge CCP hasnt made any MMOFPS till dust. So their NOOB's, i think you can agree that EVE online is still a higher quality game than most games on the market. This doesnt mean that we should shoot them down for trying to take a over franchised game type and turn it in to something new and exciting. I cant, i simply cant understand how you "fanboys" think that this is easy to pull off, that you can expect them to meet every deadline and that it wont require alot of testing and trial and error. Do you think you can bring absolute order to chaos theory? Do you think that you could predict what an openworld sandbox will evolve into and be two steps ahead of it? Do you think this is easy? If not then why ask for the rush? Why not let them work slowly with it and let it evolve so they can actually fix mistakes? **** CCP is human!

Personally i like my missles, though i have not been playing as long as you, I dont have as much knowledge about FW or even null sec as you. Though i can say that from the break i took to when i came back i did see a large list of new changes. These things take time. Besides, a subscription MMO that you can use in game money to make free? and a free to play game? i need to look into how much money these guys get paid. Nova, Raven, if you ever want to squad up and talk about this in dust i would not mind, i think you both have good knowledge and i would like to discuss this issue with you, peacefully of course!
