Why would you think anyone but minmatar would have the best sniper rifle? This is the race that has artillery in eve.

Flailer Pistol - Sidearm that fires micro rockets. Appears to be Caldari.
Gallente Plasma Launcher - A dumbfire AV weapon. Says it's Gallente in the name.
Scrambler Rifle - Like the scrambler pistol, but a rifle. Appears to be Amarr.
I actually never heard that racial variants of current weapons will be coming. But from the looks of it, the OP seems to be right on. There will be weapon types, and each race will have their own take on that type. So for pistols Amarr has the scrambler while Caldari uses the flailer. For Rockets Caldari has swarm launchers while Gallente uses plasma launchers. Etc. |

Still new to this lore and can't always tell quite yet what race something is just by looking at it yet. And I couldn't really tell what the dev was saying in that video so I guessed
