See the thing is, is that I don't want this to be a game where you're always waiting on the NEXT patch to be good. "oh yea that's annoying but it's getting fixed in the NEXT patch" and it just goes on and on. CCP has to be ON THE BALL, no time for dilly dallying. And as of right now, the core features are still not present. I don't know, maybe the studio just isn't big enough to really give this game the support it needs? I think this game has great potential as well, and there's a lot of cool features promised. But as of right now, it's just a watered down battlefield or killzone game that runs on probably 20 FPS when there's more than 3 people on the screen. All we have is some skirmish with the PROMISE of cooler game modes and features.

Now don't get me wrong, skirmish is fun, but can't battlefield 3 do everything we have RIGHT NOW but with 10x better graphics, animations, framerate, CONTROL SCHEME (using vehicles is almost pointless the controls and handling is so bad).

Two things this game has is the ISK system where guns and weapons get depleted so the incentive to try hard is always there, and a great progression system. These are both great features but there still needs to be more. I know it's only a "beta" but with a game that's not going to get a big retail release they needa listen to the community.

Riot Games (makers of League of Legends) have the same business model as CCP is using for Dust. League of Legends is the most played E-Sport (I'm not even going to call it a video game, because it's not, it's an E-Sport at this point) and the pro players live in mansions. And since I've played LoL for over 3 years, I can tell you that Riot listens to the community more than anything. Think of it like a restaurant, the chef makes exactly what you tell them to, if the doesn't it gets sent back. When dishes don't get sent back, you stay in business.

It's understandably frustrating to have features not working, or that they lack something or that they're not even there. But seriously, I mean seriously - you need more patience. As others have said, this is a BETA - not a full game, just a beta.

Take into account this is CCP's first ever First Person Shooter. Comparing it to other FPS games, always bare in mind, these development companies have had far more experience of perfecting FPS games than CCP does. Honestly, this game hasn't even been in open beta for quarter of a year and people are still complaining, still crying about things.

Do you know how long it takes to make a game good? A long time. CCP are trying their absolute best to make this great for everyone who gets involved. Honestly, I'm no fanboy, but I'll give CCP the benefit of the doubt, why the game is lagging, why graphics have weak rendering and the lack of features at the moment... I'll give CCP... 3, no hell 5 YEARS to make this game amazing. I'm happy to wait, play through all the amazing features and the features that suck. If I think they suck, I will give my opinion, but I would never tell CCP "YOU BETTER NOT KEEP SCREWING UP OR YOU'LL FAIL" - why? What the hell is the point? This game is free 100% free, you're not even forced to buy AUR. I buy all my gear soley with ISK, I'm throwing myself at objectives and racking up a high killcount with low death count.



^^ That comment you made also - is dickish. Seriously, who do you think you are? They've given you a free game, hell, they've made an actual game. Go on, try making one yourself... didn't think so. It's CCP's game, let them do whatever they want to it. I trust they'll make an amazing game. This isn't supposed to be Battlefield, Call of Duty, Killzone, Halo - its an original game, or as original you can get for an FPS. Your attempts of belittling CCP is amusing actually, but in all seriousness. This game is much more suitable for an Eve/Strategist veteran, not much an FPS veteran.
