It's rather annoying to be capable of falling a few hundred feet and halting yourself with ease via the incredible capabilities of technology, but not to jump over a chest high rail. Either safety railing systems have outstriped our humanity, or our mercs are simply too lazy to be arsed with hefting themselves over a wee barricade.
Not a necessity at the moment, but as maps expand and become more complex I feel it may be warrented. |

Would you be willing modify your suggestion from a single bound leap to adding another interaction option to "O" button for climbing? Otherwise what would prevent people to abuse your idea by bunny hopping even more annoyingly? |

Yeah a small vaulting with jump button really needs adding similar to BF3s. even if its based on stamina to do it but atm its so annoying. these guys are supposed to be super soldiers yet crumble when faced with a 2 feet high wall |

Yea vaulting.
Dust Marines have ehanced strength and endurance but when it comes to surmounting obstacles or a simple railing that is not even shoulder hieght, it is time to go around it or call in a dropship.
There is one map in paticular that has access points into the facility via jumping up on some boxes and over the wall. Now I know that was not some coicidence that those boxes are placed in such a way. However it is a immersion breaker to witness a group of Born Again Hard trying to jump and over a simple obstacle. The reality is that any good infantry wearing a full combat load would be able to jump + grab + pull themselves up or get a boost up by a buddy over some the walls and obstacles in Dust 514.
There are many situations and maps in which the lack vaulting/climbing makes the experience feel confined. Like being herding into lanes. Hell yea I be over the railing if I were being sprayed with gunfire. |

They should have a skill that governs vaults and more advanced maneuvers. Dubbed, 'Agility'. |

i find that often you actually CAN make these jumps if you have stamina.
of course, the times you're worried about hopping over **** often coincide with the times you're using up stamina to sprint somewhere so that may not be super helpful, but it's something to keep in mind. |

I actually like the stamina system, but I wouldn't complain about adding in a vaulting system. To be honest though, there are other small upgrades to the game I would rather CCP spend time on than this. |
