Do you guys think this should be added, a similar system of squad respawn like Battlefield??? The thing I'm liking about Dust is that similarity of deep gameplay from Battlefield, something most shooters out there don't have. Thing I've noticed however is the so called red lining, the other team gets severely pwned by the team that has all the null cannons. Do you guys think this might be a solution???
I've also figured that squads doesn't make any sense in Dust. There aren't any incentives from making a squad other than fun. Bonus points from squad actions is what I'm talking about. This is why I've seen the whole team grouped like an entire squad going from cannon to cannon. If this is already discussed my apologies, give a break to the noob and tell me your opinions. |

Squads are honestly probably the most important factor in the game when it comes to winning or losing and by how much.
Hm I still haven't found the usefulness of squads other than to squad up with my friends. I mean I die and my whole squad is at the other end of the map, and end up supporting another squad that is nearby. I'm a medic most of the time and I don't discriminate in supporting other team members. |

I don't think we should have squad spawning. Other wise there would be alot of instances where a heavy spawns next to the assault you're shooting and... Well you know..
Hahaha yeah. :P But what if your squadmate heavy is about to die and the only way to save him is by respawning next to him as a medic. Pretty much works in Battlefield , sometimes is annoying, others is useful for real squad support. |

Sloth9230 wrote:Squads are effective because we can organize better than your average random, only if everyone has a mic though. You can also suit your play style to better help out the rest of your team by covering for each others weaknesses, that's easier to do when you know the people you're playing with. Squads also make it it easier to call in Orbital Strikes. OB's require a certain amount of WP's, but it goes by the squads total OB's and only the squad leader can call it in.
@YOUR NAME HERE, what up with the negative-feedback? lol
Ahhh yeah precision strikes totally forgot about them. I knew there's was a reason I was squadding up lol. I don't use mics so it's totally random support for me.
Edit: Hi Sloth :P lol. |

I strongly suggest you try playing with a mike. Communication makes a huge difference. I mean, wouldn't you like to have heard that squadmate say "hey, there's a [whatever] over at [wherever]" instead of just getting splattered by that [whatever]? Or to be able to tell your SL to use a defend order on your squad's Heavy suit guy, or to let him know that the orbital notification just popped up? Also, as far as your hypothetical with the Heavy on your squad who's about to go down. . . Well, um, what _about_ him? If he goes down he goes down, and if you have to spawn over at the CRU or at an uplink, you can let him know you're on your way, and then pick the fat bastard up! But, of course, again, the microphone. Seriously, try it out, bro. I bet you'd like it.
My English speech is actually very bad so I usually stay anonymous lol. :P

Who the sh*t are you??? But yeah, the main perks are the OB's, communication( there's always team chat, but ehh... ), and y'know, playing with friends. @Maruader, a'hhh, alright. Thanks, I never noticed those before lol
Very funny Sloth. ;) |
