Currently people can be revived by logistics folk. However what if you put down an enemy and to make sure they stay down for the count, i.e unable to be revived you pump a few bullets into their supposed corpse? |

you used to be able to, they got rid of it for some reason. i guess less features equals a better game. |

I have to pay for my suit, and it's really not hard to shoot someone on the ground, so just no. Your suggestion is realistic but there's a line to be drawn. Just headshot people. Thar, fixed.
Why not remove nanite injectors while your at it. |

I remember doing this in MAG a lot. Alternatively, you could wait for a Logi to come over and try and revive, and then cap him, too. ;-) |

I like this idea. To those that don't, you would die eventually anyway. |

Yes, you should be able to bleed a clone out and deny them the opportunity to be revived. |

Pretty sure explosives do the trick currently. Not sure if it only applies just to killing blows or after you're already on the ground too.

(already suggested but who cares)
Yes yes yes +1!
Interesting tactical element which also suits well for New Eden.
Too violent? Think about using homing missiles on an escape pod. And collecting the frozen corpse. And selling it to corpse collectors... |

Learn how to shoot properly and it isn't a problem.
Sniper OSK to the head and they bloody well stay down. So do grenades, RE, Proximity mines, blowing up their Free LAV, Large Rail Gun Head Shots (my personal favorite) and large damage rounds to the head.
You need to be more assertive and shooting someone on the ground reeks of a lack of dedication and/or skill.

Today, I killed 3 people in a row with my militia logi fit with an exile AR, then got killed. After I got killed, I heard the sound of 3 separate revives. |

Implementing a "Put Down" mechanic would eliminate most of the Logistic reviver players as everyone would do it. I know I would. Anyone sing a revival fitting would become something only seen when someone decided to be silly and play a role that would have no use on the battlefield. That is why the mechanic you seek was torn away and lost to the aether forever. Well as far as Dust goes for now. |

If they do this, then when your revived it should not count as a death. |

Just killing laying down redone... is futile. He just respawn fast and nothing more you get.
1. Booytrap - eq (nanite injector with explosive nanites) that you can 'arm' laying body. Person cant use 'suicide' buton until bleedout and reds see this guy always with 'Medic!!!!' signal. When reds trying revive they just go BOOM.
2. Medic of death In short ... you longer bleedout time to capture dangerous person. https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=312025#post312025
