Wondering if anyone has any visuals or good descriptions of how wide the listed blast radius's are for things like mass drivers and grenades? Tough for me to picture meters in a game.
Wondered this because I wanted to upgrade my Mass Driver skill to increase the radius, but it would take getting it to 4 or 5 for there to be any noticeable different in the number itself, but I don't know how it would look in actual game terms. |

But is there a reference for it somewhere? Like I'm looking for some sort of diagram or description that'll tell me how close i need to shoot in order for the AOE to effect them. Also is it known if damage drops off the farther from the point of impact it is? |

I'd just use a supply depot in the redline to figure it out. You can also damage yourself with a mass driver and grenades, so as long as you watch your hp you should have no trouble figuring this out. Since you want to visualize it, it's easier if you do it yourself instead of having someone explain it. The vehicle turrets are harder to test, but eventually you'll just get the hang of it.
Keep in mind that the MD skill also increases the splash radius. |

A very tall person would be 2 meters high. Lets assume that all soldiers are those tall people at 2 meters high.
That means a 4 meter radius would be 2 dead soldiers spread in line head to toe. That's your distance from the epicenter (the point of impact) |

Or just aim to hit them directly/ just in-front of them. and then if you miss... well the splash will hit  |
