Here's the scenario;
You're in a Skirmish, your team has zero control points, the other MCC doesn't have a scratch and you've got maybe 5 minutes of oppressively one sided combat left where your life expectancy will never get above 20 seconds. I think we've all been there a few times.
Questions is what do you personally do at that point? Do you go for points? Try out new tactics? Quit and just not waste the time?
Howabout when its early on? After a while it seems like you can tell whose gonna win the match within 5 minutes of the games start, do you cut your losses and quit to a better game? |

honestly i just screw around when i know my teams not gonna win like the entire team is just standing and sniping instead of taking objectives so i just explore the map for choke points or great flanking spots |

Well there is no reward for getting the Victory Graphics to show up at the end, so your team mates don't help out. In matches with active players you can be losing with your armor at 80% and their MCC at 80% shields and still turn the match around.
But with no incentive for your random team mates to help win the match *i.e. a reward for the winning team* It's impossible to pull a game back when only half your team is active. |

with an active team you simply drop a single spawn uplink somewhere near the back of the base and people start pouring out and you take the match and win. |

get LAV, backdoor enemy base, ninja hack the point and watch how half of my team spawns there and gets slaughtered. Meanwhile I'm hacking the nearest objective and if the blueberries last long enough and the redberries are too busy spawnkilling, maybe we can do a comeback. |

Most times I am always pushing, I like to ninja behind enemy lines and hack and drop uplinks. Makes me feel like I did what I could.
Now when I'm on the team that is doing the redline, I first blow up installations and any enemy vehicles. After that it is finding the best spots to jump my free LAV. |

If red team is all packing AV and hit and run becomes a bore, I run the map at top speed to improve my driving skillz.

i hop into a dropship with my squad (ds always has a MCRU in it), we fly to the letter furthest away from where were getting redlined, we hot drop the letter and cap it. We then play king of the hill, trying to see how long we can keep it before the enemy team over runs us. (or we just play ambush and redlining just doesn't become a problem anymore). |

Grab my BPO/starter fit "mechanic", call in a free LAV, and try breaking through behind the enemy line- either to take a cannon while the reds keep redlining, or to draw back enough reds to give the blueberries an opportunity to move in on another cannon. |

Seriously.....this happened in six of my games last night. Not trying to hate on newbies but damn.....go play ambush if you're not interested in taking objectives in skirmish.

Have to admit I grab a sniper fit and see if I can pick a few people off to try and get a few points
But to be honest, there is so little difference between point/isk winning and losing it does not really matter who wins, so its all kind of pointless at the moment.
