It would be cool to have a game type where they enabled Friendly-Fire. For example, you could replace the normal Ambush game and use it to enable Friendly-Fire and a few other aspects to make it 'hardcore'. Things though i found that wouldn't work is taking off the radar because some people spec into that so it wouldn't work very well for the general public. |

I can imagine so much trolling going on. Find the ally with the most expensive gear, kill them, or several, then leave the battle. Or just never use consumeable gear, and just kill your teammates with no reprocussions.
To say it won't happen is ludicrous. |

Well of course there would be serious repercussions but to hit a teammate in the face with a forge gun and to take no damage is ludicrous. |

I think having a middle ground option for pub play where some or all aspects of FF are enabled could be useful to help people transition to friendly fire in Null or Low Sec. As long at the player population is there to support it, the more game modes we can have the better. |

I can't be bothered to dig out the dev quote, but FF will be on in nullsec, off in highsec, and they haven't decided on lowsec.
The only problems will be if there are public matches with FF enabled, and I don't believe that will be the case. If you go into a FF battle it will be with your corpmates, and if they are acting like douchebags then your corp leadership will deal with them. |
