Vehicle questions Why is the damage control unit an active mod? Why do I get blue shield with a giant blaster? Why does my tank get stuck on items smaller than my tank? Well the RDV comes from the warbage in space, so a 15 second reentry would scramble his brains from all that heat, guys probably got hot pockets for balls at that point.

Both of these are realistic Anti-tank obstacles are almost always smaller then tank, and main danger when driving over trees is getting stuck on a stump. Tanks in real life can get air time like duke's of hazard, but it risks damaging the tank. In one match I saw your tank pointing straight up with rear armour resting on ground, how ever you got it in that position should have caused some damage.
Damage control in eve is active mod, but uses so little cap it can be run continuously, so in effect it may as well be passive. In dust it should be passive unless/until we get cap and auto repeat like eve.
The rdv drones are kept dumb, so they don't steal the tanks for themselves and build an army of rogue drone sagaris. lol, the rdv are pretty dumb in path they take sometimes.
Blue shields happen with everything, not as bad as before, but hit detection needs work still. |

CCPs biggest failure is trying to take just parts of eve ships/fittings and bring a simpler version to dust.
