So. Does anyone know when we are getting them? It would be nice for me not to waste my 1.2 million SP on getting proto suits when I can just use them Neos.
Can any you tweety bird or whatchamacallit lovers poke the devs to find out about it? |

Well I eventually do plan on getting my protosuit. I already got my B Series. Its just little over 2 weeks of grinding for me. They do have the Neo Type 1 and Neo Type A series. Was just curios about the Proto suit. |

I don't understand why some people are so dead set against spending money on this game. It's either you're going to spend money or your going to spend time. Hopefully we see Neo Protosuits down the line, and hopefully CCP brings back the old dropsuit base health. |

Dude I am already way ahead of the game with 3.1 million SP. Like i said within 2 weeks I will have my proto suit. However I dont need to kick ass with it. its a nice to have. |

I agree with you jump. Its ridiculous that we pay so much ISK for a proto suit and all it gives us is the extra PG and slots. Hopefully CCP will bring back the old health system or atleast give the advanced and proto suits some buff. |

i think CCP will wait a bit until more people have advanced or proto gear. maybe they will become available for dropsuit lvl 3 or 4.

If you want the PG/CPU/slots bad enough, you'll pay the ISK/SP. If you don't want it bad enough, you won't. It's as simple as that. Making a base HP gap between will do nothing but make noobs have that much more trouble playing the game, and keep our community even smaller. You want more health on that Proto suit? Use those extra slots and PG/CPU for better/more armor/shield mods. |

In all honesty, the idea behind using AUR is getting early access to gear by not having to spend so much in skills to use higher level gear. The cost for that? Cold hard cash. And at the end of the day, getting the SP and spending ISK to get your gear makes CCP $0. It's in AUR purchases that they make money.
And how the game still remains not Pay to Win in that you can't get gear that is seriously more powerful only with AUR. A Neo Proto would still have the same stats as an ISK Proto so effectively people are still playing on an even battle ground.
I will be expecting to see CCP release Neo Proto suits eventually. Although I'm not sure really if I'll use them. Maybe I'll use the Neo suits to test a fitting before I skill into it. |

I dont like the sound of this. The Type A Neo Assault is already a pretty generous suit. There should at least be one thing exclusive to those who want to put the time into it... |

It could be money maker for ccp, and it is not adding something time wouldn't give you. I would rather see neo-proto then bpo b-type.
During the time it takes to grind the 1.2 mil, it would tempt people to spend the cash. Some may even skill 2 suits to lv4 instead and then buy neo-proto for the versatility. The size of jump would and time it takes gives ccp a longer window to sell neo-proto suits.
It should probably be added once more people have them regular way. I have only seen two people with proto-suits so far. Regnum and some other guy never heard of that died to my standard ar and suit. |

Personally i like it
it allows me to stay competitive on the ground with other folks for now while i focus my SP into tanks since im one of the main tankers for SyN.
eventually when i do get my tank to where it was ill get my suits up like i did as well
just dont got the time and dual roles are a pain when u 1st start off
good way for CCP to make money and good for newbies to stay competitive should others already have their adv/proto stuff up already
its the same thing that already is there with the guns but ppl dont complain about them lol |

i can allready see it coming. Cause at the moment its like this:
-STD=no skill required
-ADV= lvl 1 required
-Proto= lvl X required (probably going to be lvl 2)
So when CCP implements this every moron with enough money can have proto suits with minimal SP requirements. This will come quite in handy for tank drivers who want to switch out to a infantry suit when it is needed. |

i can see it being 4 since gettin skills to 5 takes the same amount of SP total u invested in the previous 4 lvls so it takes time |
