Should I bother with either the Neo or Sever suits, or just save up? |

The Sever is a dropsuit which never runs out which means you only need 1 buy one and you can use it unlimited times. This can be useful if you know you'll use Logi a lot since it has that important 3rd equipment slot from the militia.
The Neo though is useful if you want to get into the better suits before skilling into them, but in the long run don't rely on them. I would suggest skilling into that dropsuit skill and getting the isk versions. Also keep in mind that if you wanted the Type 2 suits for any reason there are no AUR type 2 suits currently. |

If you are going to run as a logistics then the SEVER suit will be your money maker. Pick it up and outfit it with BPO everything. When you want to make some serious ISK quick just whip it out for a few games and reap the rewards. |

Go for the A series within the first 2-3 weeks, its a very, very good suit with lots of flexibility and relatively cheap to run if you want to get alot of millitia gear on it (equipment included).
Also a complete beast when "polished" It can easily fit 2 complex damage mods and a complex shield extender within a very small time frame compared to a A-series Assault suit.

Sever suit will let you gain grind benefits and loadout early that are waaaay better than starter suit for logi's. As was mentioned, grab the BPO's for nanites, nanohives and repair tool. You are then free to build up the dough playing as a logi should. |

If you are going to play Logi as your primary and you have AUR buy the 'Sever' suit. It's no Proto but it'll more than earn its keep until you have the proper fit to run a Proto.
Cheers, Cross
EDIT: And I support the above advice, build yourself a 'Sever" fit with full BPO gear. Logi suits run a lot of fitting mods costing quite a bit when you die. This 'Sever' + militia BPO fit gives you a ground floor to earn the ISK you'll need to run your better gear. |

This also saves the hate that comes from wasted money in a randumb game if you die a lot because of it. No money lost = let me rise and fight again! |

Yup to all this. I save a ton of ISK this way, now I can run my BPO suit for regular matches, and save my good stuff for corp battles. |

Something to consider: Sever costs 19,800 AUR (10 bucks I believe) Neo costs 70 AUR Type-I is 9.4k ISK The Sever is only more efficient than the Neo if you use it and die 283 times.
I have been using the Type-I Logistics. It is only 8.4k to buy and has the same stats as the Sever and Neo. I have never worried about money. I have been playing for a week and currently have 8.1 million. I just look at it like this: my suit costs X to replace. In a match, I get between 170-230K for Ambush with about 190k being the average. I just say that I am never going to die more than 10 (be liberal here) times per map. Therefore, providing X is less than 19k, I will never lose money.
1 Logistics Type-I: 8,400 2 Militia Shield Extenders: 900 1 Basic Armor Plate: 2,400 1 Militia Armor Repairer: 590 1 Assault Rifle: 4,000 1 Militia Armor Repair: 620 1 Militia Nanite Injector: 690 1 Militia Nanohive: 480 1 Militia Droplink: 1,240 1 Locus Grenade: 1,400
Depending which suit I run out with, it will be 19,480, 20,030, or 20,240 every time the suit dies. Dropping the non-militia AR and/or Plates would save 5,300.
If you are going to buy BPO's, Suits are the way to go. Let's say that I have died 300 times in the 'Raven.' If I had been wearing an Assault Type-I (6.8k ISK per), it would have ran me 2.04 million ISK or a quarter of what I currently have. So, I think Suit BPO's are not too shabby IF you are going to (ab)use them all the time. For militia BPO's, it is not as worth it.
Just the .02 ISK of a new player. |

Seems I made a good purchase then.
