People do this all the time. You're just trying to create drama as Kain is a well known member of the community.
Besides we're beta testers aren't we? We're meant to exploit these things. Remember when WARRIORS abused armour reps?Remember how they forced CCP to fix things, rather than let it go on forever?

When a known member of an active corp is leeching sp I think it probably needs to be looked at. It's going to have some level of impact on the game in the future. My goal is not to smear anyone, to be honest I probably wouldn't have even noticed an afk member if I didn't know who they were. It's because he was Kain that I checked his score. If it were any other player I knew well enough to expect something out of and they let me down that badly in a match their name would have been posted just as readily. At the point that it's unfair to hold him to a higher standard. It's that higher standard that made me take notice so I suppose you are right in that regard.
You are just trying to smear him. Admit it.
Also he's not "leeching" sp. his actions aren't directly causing you to earn less. Besides he makes what, 5K sp for sitting idle for a fair while. It's not like he gets some huge unfair advantage.
And how do you know he didn't hard freeze or something? It's full of bugs and exploits and we're MEANT to exploit them that's why it's in beta. |

So he is not leeching he is just farming 5k a match while not playing, which is not an unfair advantage. Then he hard froze, and also he was meant to exploit so it's fine. You just seem kind of desperate to defend the actions to be honest.
I never said this things happen but let's look at the facts.
5k sp boo freakin hoo. I'm constantly killed by people with a 5k sp advantage.
It doesn't affect the amount of so you earn
He could have hard frozen. You have no idea what actually happened and shouldn't accuse people without solid proof.
It's a ******* beta. What the hell do you think we're here to do? Tell CCP how good and bug free their game is? To get a head start? It's a BETA we're meant to break the game. It's not a demo why don't you guys get that?

I did only noticed him on my team because he had a well known reputation, that is the reason I checked his score when we were losing the match. Did his reputation mean I noticed when he did it yes, unfair yes I admit, but like I said I don't check the score of randoms which is why I don't take notice of random leechers. It's not like I went into the match saying how can I make Kane look bad, I was honestly excited he was on my team.
I don't think I made a mistake posting the video because like I said I don't think your reputation should also make you impervious to being accountable for your actions at the end of the day.
If it was a random, would you have still recorded it and made a thread about it?
The fact is, SP farming is done by many people and yet no one ever makes a thread about them but if a well known player does it then hell, we need to doom him to the deepest parts of hell.
Also why don't you understand that this is a beta. I would rather he farms SP now and CCP changes it, than have him farm SP once the game releases. |
