A couple simple request really.
Range Statistics on Handheld Weapons I'm amazed these aren't already in the game, but it would be extremely nice to know the effective range of the different guns. Optimal ranges & falloffs in particular.
AR Falloff & Accuracy in the Mid-Long Range This is what boggles my mind. I understand that ARs are meant to be the bread and butter of the infantry, but they really trounce every other weapon when it gets to the mid-range and beyond. Frankly, it annoys the **** out of me that ARs are so accurate, and still out-damaging LRs despite being so far away. This is even more obvious when you start seeing higher tier guns on the field, since the skills those guns require make them all the more powerful. I've lost count of how many GEKs have been sniping people across maps.
I'm trying not to come off as someone QQing, as I do remember how silly the Breach Rifle was; However, I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that the range of the ARs is much too large. It's either that or the battlegrounds which we are provided are far too small to take advantage of the other weapon types. |

I agree that we need more of the stats in the Attributes tab. That threads methods don't seem valid after my own tests. 99% efficiency rating with large railguns still results in not making it to the target at the longer ranges. |

I'd have to agree that the ranges of the solid round based weapons this time around are, beyond impressive. With very low skills into sniper rifle and light weapon sharpshooter, the entire map is typically my oyster. Rather dismaying for me as I decided to try out the shiney new lazer weaponry this time around and discovered it's got the same "sweet spot" as amarrian weaponry in eve. Understandable, if understated. As well as the harsh reality that at medium to long range, an AR, including the melitia variant, outdamages even the prototype lazer at long ranges. The AR with it's extreme ROF and amazing grouping even at sniper rifle ranges, makes any other weapon kind of a silly choice. Unfortunately for the Lazer Rifle, it's aiming difficulties aside, it doesn't have the range to be a serious competitor with the majority of other weaponry. Stack that with it's decreased damage at short range, and I am seriously regretting wasting the bulk of my sp in them.

Yes! I'd love to see more detailed weapon stats.
I think they should also include skill modifiers in these stats; damage, range, etc. |
