Legacy Rising 371	Posted - 2013.02.04 17:11:00 - [2] - Quote The only weapon you as a dropship pilot get is the dropship itself, skilled pilots can and will land dropships on enemy's crushing them. however this makes you rather vulnerable and is a bad idea if your new to piloting. As a dropship pilot the majority of your WP are going to be from assists and spawns if you have a onboard CRU. I've done it before and it's a hoot. Takes some skill though, but pretty funny. Has risk though.

Quick question how many dropships you lost and how?cause i've lost about 4 to crashes, 3 to enemy fire, and 2 to ******* RDV's (luckily they were all vipers)

Too many to count... I'd say that of the matches that I call in a dropship, there is probably a 33-50% chance that I make it out with my dropship. Unfortunately for me, my myron costs 464K right now. It'll cost more later tonight, too. Edit: Forgot to finish answering the question. Mostly, I lose them to turrets and forge gun rounds. I really don't lose them to swarms any more. If I didn't lose it to the turret or forge gun round, it's because I crashed it into something trying to get it away from a turret or forge gun round. I've lost probably 5-6 to RDV's as well.

I can pilot it just fine and avoid turret fire like a baws, but once I've set up my uplink on the highest sniping point, I don't really need the ship anymore. Can I send it back? Usually I just let it fall or park it for a random blueberry to crash.
