I'd really like to see a way for corps to add funds to their wallets without relying on member donations. This is why I'd like to suggest implementing a tax rate that can be set by a corporation, much like what exists in EVE. The tax could come off the mission rewards at the end of a battle. It would also be nice to see how much is being taken for tax on the money graph circle as well. |

An in-game system would be nice...would take away from the stress of being a CEO and making sure funds are appropriately sent in. |

I'd also suggest some kind of cap on said tax % , allow CEO to set a variable amount up to X%. This would help prevent abuse |

Agreed!
As the CEO of a Corporation, we are soley player-funded to in order to afford collateral for the contracts. I also think an in-game system for splitting the earnings of a contract should be in place. |

I Disagree. Why? the sandboxGäó
Alliances/corporations of eve have used 100% tax rates for reasons other than abuse to varying degrees of success for years. Don't agree with whatever tax rate? Turncoat and join a different corp.

Am I the only one that thinks this is ass-backwards?
Mercenaries are working for corporations, so shouldn't the corporations be paying the mercs?
Currently, the only reasons to dump ISK into a corporation are:
1) Buying contracts 2) Transferring ISK from character to character
You don't need taxes to do either.
However, when corporations can start offering members useful services, then I can understand the need for a tax. |

I see your point on this
Quote:I was about to say, "Don't you guys know that EVE has this?" never played EVE still learning what this universe is all about. Just Spent hr or two reading eve university wiki. My understanding has grown lol. Give us Dustmites time, at least were trying to help :)

On a Side note Corps need a Asset Bank as well, Salvaged and or purchased item by corp for rewarding members or whatever CEO see fit.

There's a 3rd option: Funding mercs to win corp battles. At some point I believe territory, and owning districts will be important to Corporations, and the cost of a good tank is more than a player can earn in a battle. So to win that district, the mercs will need good equipment, which costs mucho money. Corps offer the ability to pool resources to get that awesome pilot a realy nice dropship. |
