Anyways I understand the game is new and I'm definitely not that great at it but who what where when. I enter a game and nobody is saying anything. People are going every which way. Is there someone in charge directing what our goal /objectives are? I would prefer if there was squad/platoon leaders such as in MAG.
Playing the game feels like there isn't really a goal. I'm not seeing any real teamwork.......... |

There isn't one unless you're in skrim. Then it's capture points to kill enemy MCC.
And there ARE squad leaders who can give commands to squads that give extra points for obeying plus they get to use Orbital Bombardments :D |

Scout the forums, get in a player run corp, maybe write in the local channel. Sadly in public matches random blueberries don't use voice comms (CCP, come on - make voice ON by default). There's definitely teamwork in the game and it can make you die a lot less. |

Shouldn't the planets at least have some scenery. Boulders trees or are all of these planets desolate. |

Sometimes when I solo I dont have my mic on, but I keep it on team chat to hear if anyone is using it.
About a week ago when I was on my alt, I did this and heard the corp. Free Men of DUST talking. We were losing slowly on the Comms. 3 pt skirmish.
I decided to get on vox and help out, we got organized and pushed them from the complex to catch up. From there it was a straight up dogfight to stay ahead on MCC armor pts. We ended up winning by 2-3 armor bars or so, close game but real fun. They invited me into their pub channel to chat and squad up. I didnt hang around but it was a cool experience.
Shout out to Free Men of DUST, keep up the good teamwork and communication, its the key.

if your new then your mic might not be turned on. Check your settings to make sure your mic is on and that push to talk is off, then just hit select and join differnt squads, try talking to people ect... if they dont have a mic move to the next squad, if you move through all the squads switch to team chat by clicking on team and hitting "activate voice" eventually youll run into organized squads and you can go from there. |
