takes more time resources, and people buy the PS3 games, not the PS4-they want you buying all new stuff that costs more |

Maybe some of you are too young to remember but the first iterations of the PS3 could play PS2 games just fine.
I also read, though I will not dig to find it again to prove it to you, that it's already been stated that DUST isn't maxing out the abilities of the PS3.
You guys should find something else to worry about. it may be able to, but it also might not, the ps3 could play ps2 games but it had a pretty expensive chip that allowed it to emulate the games. the ps3 uses cell ( which is one of the reasons it was so much $$ at launch) the ps4 almost definitely will not.

my guess is that Dust will remain a beta till the next gens come out.
we are running at 25% of total material CURRENTLY planed. EVE is a decade old. the amount of stuff they will be adding in the decades to come(CCP buisness model is amazing(aside from the monocle fiasco) and the new PS will, if nothing else, for convinences sake, make it easir on CCP)) will easily be more then the PS3 can handle.
when sony anounces their next gen on the 20th(got beat last time by microsoft, doubt they want a repeat of that) we will know more |
