Ok so imagine someone from EVE hires some dust bunnies to steal a shipment from a base. Say they went in failed miserably and were caught. Now the EVE player, having hired them for millions of isk, is upset. He won't pay. So what does he do? Blow it all up, no names, no isk, and he carries on. **** got real for dust bunnies :D |

But the merc wants some insurance money beforehand to make sure they don't get screwed out of the full contract. |

Last I checked, I get the only real benefit out of a Orbital Bombardement that I order down from EvE. |

Until they can shoot Skyfire in capsuleers' faces. That wouldn't be in a pawn's style, would it?
And I think that mercs will be able to require insurance before taking a contract. Unless, of course, it's coming from an EVE corp mate who you trust very greatly and maybe even met in real life. |

Here's what they're going to do, they're going to remember that eve pilots name, then they are going to tell other corporation's what an untrustworthy **** that guy is. Hence other corporation's will either not work for that guy or demand a much higher collateral before accepting the contract. The result it just got a lot more expensive for that guy to work with us mercs |

in that case we just activate the orbital artillery canon on the ground which is equal to a concord strike. |
