February Re-Introduce Faction Warfare Properly Add additional Tiles to the procedural maps Possibly begin Testing Mega Terrain Generator and Map Generator to assign Bring back Star Map Add non-consenting corp battle contracts. Improve corp functions add 3 new guns new sounds Increase squad size to 6 Increase team size to 18 another balance pass adjust Sp system again screw over UVT once more with corp uvts. Add vegetation.

In comparison to PS2s road map I am extremely pissed off about PS2's map as it offers no real solution to what is wrong at the heart of the game. AKA 'why win?' |

I think this is part of the problem. Every once in a while someone comes out and seems to have about 90% more of an idea of what is going on. If CCP are communicating even half of what you said outside the forums how come we can't get a sticky post from the Developers about this stuff? Something vague like "This is what we are trying to accomplish in the next six months" and just being upfront that not everything will be done in that time.
Like I said though road map is written in mud in a hurricane.
Corporation features (at any level) was originally slated 2013 Summer and Launch Day Winter 2012.
Guess how much foot stomping cause those two to swap?
Also I only represent the IRC community at most.
There are other outlets of information from Twitter, Blogsphere, and casts and its really up to the community to raise awareness of each of these. |

Don't worry about having to buy on day 1, the number of active mercs needs to fall below the 1% magical mark for retiring the ps3 console client. So it may be a year or two afterwards. After all the ps2 was still being pumping out of factories up until 2012 December. |

Iron Wolf's roadmap sounds like something CCP would do - IIRC it took about the same amount of time for EVE Online to introduce null space and full industry. IRC is their informal means of communication. Informal enough that we had a developer sniped for accidentally speaking about things that should be unheard and I refuse to repeat what is said so would that red laser dot on my forehead please go away? |

dunno xfire while not accurate is a decent sampeling, the population shows it keeps dipping down and down. There are quite large number players demanding server merges from the 14 down to 7.
I joined a platoon the other day with 2 other people. a PLATOON, not a squad platoon of 3, 1 man squads.
To top it off. Planetside 1 population is growing. |

Or Borderlands 2 15,000 players and that's a 4 player game, on multiple platforms and virtual stores. also approaching its first year.
Or Call of Duty MW 3's at 17,000 who everyone here can agree its strongest platform is xbox 360 and is already quite old.
Or Modern Warfare 2! at 10,000 still!
There is something absolutely wrong with planetside 2 at it's core and you're saying that every one of those features over the next 6 months is going to miraculously save the game?
The contents of the road map is nearly what I expect out of a DLC for Battlefield 3.
This is not like Dota 1 vs Dota 2 where Dota 2 overshadow its predecessor entirely and nullified every reason to go back to 1.
When planetside 2 is losing people to planetside 1 you got a major problem.
And the one game that was declared a sinking ship and abandon all hope has 5x more xfire players than Planetside 2. Star Wars the Old Republic. Why? Because they addressed the heart of the game's issues. |

If a game of the quality of Planetside 2 numbers are so "low" then you might as well wipe your arse on Dust right now. I don't think I've ever seen a more blinded fanboy. Keep repeating "CCP are great....Dust is perfect....CCP are great....Dust is perfect".
Gee I wonder why I listed the non-steam game... especially ones significantly more popular on other platforms. None the less steam is a good scatter shotgun survey as it covers the average player where xfire is a bit widely inaccurate.
Also like I said, auto-join squads shouldn't be putting me into 'combined' groups smaller than dust 514 squads but they do. Sizes of fronts formed shouldn't be smaller than dust 514 team sizes either but they are... Also genuine cheaters are still quite prevalent in the game.Getting killed by people in the floor is no fun at all.
Secondly don't put words in my mouth or I will hurt you more... matter fact I will right now.
132+ minor things wrong with dust 514 most of them from my own experience and by no means is the list complete.

Uhm duh? because SOE has a business to run and publishing active player counts can be bad for business and many companies avoid doing this. World of warcraft for example is getting harder and harder to pull numbers from.
Overall most other graphs I found where useless they quit tracking after launch day, or have some really obscure numbers that make your case look worse if interpeted the wrong way and thus not used at all as I call those bad graphs. Or that web traffic spike that show interest in the road map and by good guesstimation puts the playing population of planetside 2 at less than 100k. |

Considering you're supposed to counter post a graph proving me wrong you're sort of failing your end of the deal.
Also steam is a sample similar to polling and its quite accurate in terms of tracking where player trends are going, unless you can scientifically reasonably explain why only steam users are quitting.

Actually no, I have logically answered all of your questions with support evidence, you have stupidly grasped at thin air concepts such as the statement of Planetside 2 shutting down in 5 minutes. You're nearly breaking every bad rule in the debate book that wouldn't impress a business meeting.
As for your communications they're busy as hell as well as CCP's IA is still rather irate with the recent bad leak that the rest of the members are sworn not to repeat. Because of [CCP]Nullabor won't spill the beans on FW his project unless its approved by marketing, and [CCP]nothin today posted he is looking to see if the odd squad and odd size player battles work and from the general feel from irc conversations the server stability is their current focus. Lots of hamsters are getting sick or lost.
[CCP]Fame is busy as heck as well working with [CCP] Pokethulu (David Reid) on marketing which is why he rare talks to us.

BTW this was a road map item since day 1 of public beta.
[CCP] Pokethulu > 'We don't want to have dust 514 soldier suddenly everywhere in New Eden and not explain them in the New Eden universe, so we are actually going to integrate the beta into the story line.'
I been predicting portions of the event for about 3 weeks now. Just got the location and 1 of the factions wrong.
