Oh and to OP ever consider its the DAMAGE MODS and NOT THE AR!!!!! Shocker a module that is supposed to have a stacking penalty but instead has a stacking BONUS!!!(Check complex dmg mods when they are stacked) that it just might be the module. And hey if you can take on a heavy with that setup great. Try to take me on with it, your lower shields mean i dont even need to bother with a flux before i 2shot you with my MD.

Its been OP since the start, which is fine so long as weapons like the MD, LAR and HMG have the ability to gain the upper hand so long as environmental conditions are met.

Right now it's quite steady, and I can basically hold down the trigger to shoot off 30 rounds accurately, even while moving, without a problem. I don't know if the AR needs it or not, but I'd understand if they wanted to make controlling your fire more of a necessity to hit targets at range with the AR.

Assault rifle can spray and pray has little to no recoil till about half the clip and has an effective range that rivals anything except snipers in the game. it should be good not the only gun to use. Mas Driver - shoots explosive so yes if I land it next to you I will hurt you. But then your Dps is much much higher. Also implying that hitting you with splash is missing l makes you seem bitter don't be bitter. Shotgun- working as intended (as much as I hate to say it) in the back of the head yea OHK usually takes even calamity jane two three shots to get me. If I see her coming. HMG - and? It fires off 2000rpm thats what it is there for although most people I know that use it arent spraying and praying they target yoi and mow you down. Now before all the AR fanboys go waaaah yo just hate it. I do hate it with a passion but doesnt stop me from goin 20-4 with 1 rank in ar. It needs to be tweaked not nerfed balance the game not break it.

Now pretty much every primary weapon has been deemed OP and now they'll be nerfed so much that all of us will be running around with butter knives that do more damage than them... And then even that would be complained about. Keep in mind: IT'S A SCI-FI GAME. It's not meant to be realistic, sniper rifles can shoot their rounds in a perfectly straight trajectory, HMGs get more accurate after being fired for longer and laser rifles get more damage after being fired for longer too. Assault rifles basically fire massive slugs at a fast rate of fire and have a great range. It's not fun if it's real. The surreal-ness of DUST is what attracts people to the game. The SCI-FI genre is popular due to people wanting to escape from the real world and fantasise about the future where our cars can fly and everything is much faster and the universe has infinite possibilities for humans. Everything is powerful in DUST, the technology surpasses anything in the real world, even our drop suits could probably withstand any small arms fire from real life weapons like the M16. That's why the Assault rifles, HMGs, Sniper rifles etc are so powerful, because they need to be able to penetrate such a powerful suit. And also here's the thing: DUST was labelled as 'the thinking man's FPS' in some magazine when it first went into closed beta. Think before charging at a guy with a better weapon then yours. Think before running out of cover when a sniper has you pointed. Think before running up to a heavy to kiss him and then being rejected with a hail of rounds. You have to... That's right people, THINK. If you know you have ****** militia armour on, don't charge a guy with a duvolle, try to flank him. When you eventually realise (And I'm losing hope that any of you will) that this isn't your typical FPS, you'll start racking up the kills and then earn yourselves enough skill points and ISK to purchase and use those high tier, prototype suits and weapons that'll turn you into an infamous, deadly mercenary. TL;DR Think, don't complain that you ran out and got killed by something. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER: You will die a lot, don't complain about it, we all do.
