It affected the DUST server big time. The fight was epic and it all began with just a minor mistake in an operation that suppose to be insignificant.

Things should be coming back online now though so you can reconnect straight away. Edit: The fleet fight last night should not have affected DUST at all, however we have been diagnosing some growing pains of our own. So probably just coincidence.

Basically both games are running on the same server. when huge fleet fights happen in eve, the server just can't cope and eventually shuts down either the node thats taking the biggest hit or the entire server. Was quite used to it while playing eve for 7 years.

My understanding is we've been running on some of the same nodes and that's why i couldn't even sign into Dust yesterday.

Should not have affected DUST - but did it? I know you are investigating but "probably a coincidence is pretty vague."

I was thinking it would be really nice to have a diagram of the total EVE/DUST server architecture, and some basic info on the machines. One thin is for sure: it's one hell of a setup.
