CCP is very specific on the community of there games being ran by the community and are probaly the loses gamemakers when it comes to what could be considered as copy right violations as entire websites have popped up for eve online that explain and do anything from the walkthrough of a mission to the tools loved by capital pilots as they plan there safest route.

So if ur looking for actual trophies mabey and just mabey there will be but at most there will be 12 and probally as easy to complete as call of duties and probally only catering to the future pve aspect of the game.

As for grandour and such well that just a matter of how good u are and/or how active u are in the community.

Snipers are notorious KDR padders. You won't find much love for 'em. They don't work well with others - never snipe objectives and really seem self serving in a game that emphasizes team work.

In the ambush playlist I usually just try my hardest to snipe people as the overall objective is to get as many kills as possible. I like both assault riffles and sniping so I'll probably switch between the two.

But as for sniping just for stats...nah. If this game catches my interest enough (which it probably will, it's doing a good job already) I'll be looking for some clans or w/e the Eve/Dust equivalent is and try hella hard to win matches as well as make myself look as best as I can.

I'm not about the stat padding/faking. No real reason to stats fake if people know you're doing it.

So does the game not have these features? Am I just not paying enough attention? Are they planning on adding them?

I'm talking about medals and stuff for things like:

Kill streaks (3, 5, 10, 15, 20)
Head shots
Saving a teammate
getting so many assists (as a collaboration medal, rather than just the assist medal)
killing certain players so many times in a row
Killing the entire team without dying

etc

Usually they have these in other games, where if you achieve this an emblem pops up and gives you extra exp/currency and is usually stored on a stats page somewhere.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? Lol.

Scorestreaks? Isn't that what an orbital bombardment is? Also, if you want stuff like headshot medals, go play call of duty, then realise how annoying they are taking up part of your screen getting you killed.

On another note, you get 60 points for reviving someone, consider that your extra xp. Do it by a squad order other than rally, and you get 72 points.

If a squad accrues enough War Points then the leader can call in a Precision Strike, which will deal some hefty damage in a relatively large area.

CCP's already expanding on that with different racial bombardment types as well (one for each race).

Other than that, no, there aren't any streaks in the game.

Goldhawk 1:

It's possible that, in time, CCP will expand the end-game statistics screen beyond the current KDR and war points totals to include such things as assists, logibro numbers (ex. number of revives, number of armor repair points, spawns, et al.) ... but I higly doubt that CCP will ever introduce Call of Duty-style killstreak rewards, medals and whatnot. From what I've seen in my time in the closed beta, it just doesn't seem to fit with CCP's modus operandi.

I hope that doesn't disappoint you, because in games like Dust 514 and MAG, the real focus is on teamwork, because that's what wins matches, brings in the skill points, ISK and salvage items GÇö and, cumulatively, can lead to the destruction of entire empires.
