So, I played a tiny bit of Dust and was pulled away by family business and all I wanted to do was go back and play again. Really surprising as I thought it looked kinda crappy a while back but I'm glad I like it.
I have a few slight suggestions. Maybe spruce up the menu system a bit? Maybe give more clear definitions of some things? The menus can get kind of confusing sometimes but that might just be me having almost no experience in the game. But some things are really unclear, much like Eve and a few other MMOs I've played it seems like there is a lot of stuff to do in the game, like it has tons and tons of depth but there's no real clear cut way to figure out how to do stuff other than ask other people.
But as for the questions...
1. Will the graphics for this game get better? I know it's kind of silly to ask but currently the graphics are...well bad. It's kind of difficult to play because it's really blurry and I have an HD TV with an HDMI hook up. I know that's nothing special, but it seems odd for a HD setup.
2. What things in this game will be expanded upon when the game comes out? Like I said the trailers and stuff say that there's lots to do but right now I feel insanely limited in some areas.
3. Will this game be free to play? I remember them saying it was but I'd just like to make sure.
4. To change classes, do I have to make new characters? I have different "rigs" or w/e they are in this game but I feel like that won't change my entire skill set.
5. What about the whole skills stuff? There's a page for current skills, and there's another page for a bunch of other skills. What does that do?
Well I'm about to get back on and check some stuff out. Thanks for the replies. |

2. Planetary Interactions, more modes, more people in game, more toys to play with, more skills, ect.
3. yes.
4. no (unless you want to specialize then you will)
5. ones a section of skills you already have - the other is a section of all skills available.
Hope that answers your questions. |

If i'm right...
1: Graphics at the moment are slower because they want to keep the client around the 2gb. But then it will get better.
2: Weapons, equipment, etc.
3: It will.
4: You don't need to make a new character. You just need unblock the skill that lets you play with another class (like Caldari Suit Skill)
5: Current skills are those skill that you get depending in what class did you take. The other page has the rest of skill that you can get (same for all the class)

Yes, among many other things. Also expect more graphical updates during the life span of the game.
Conquest mode, weapon mods, more suits more guns, more vehicles, faction symmetry, empire building, arena mode, industry, exploration and beyond.
Game is free to play, no need to buy aurum ever.
They're called fits but yes you can 'make classes' based on the gear you trained up and have in possession so take a trip though the market and read all the items, try to 'focus' your fits in a certain situation, its much better than making an 'omni' soldier. Some items need skills to use so plan accordingly.
the second page is all the skills available, red X you dont qualify to learn yet, green checks are learnable but you dont have a copy of the book, you can buy a book from this page and get it up to lvl 0. Skill points, tan books are in possesion and trainable, dark brown books are maxed out.
Plan your skill spending carefully see what all skills are out there and custom tailor your character to your game style or to make up for your lack of game style. Getting killed too quick? Train shield operation and mechanics. Targets not dying? train weaponry, out of breath? there is always dropsuit upgrade skills.

Actually, a couple more Qs.
How do you get more CPU/PG? I want higher level stuff but I have a really low cap.
How do I get more skill points? Every once in a while it goes up by 1 but do you gain more per game? |

CPU/PG is solved by circuitry and engineering. |

if you have the prerequisite SP you can increase your Circuitry and Engineering skills to increase your CPU and PG. You can also equip CPU and PG modules if you have no alternative. There are also several skills that decrease the requirements for certain items. For example light weapon upgrades lowers the fitting requirements for light weapons. Eventually you can gain enough SP to upgrade to higher tier suits which have higher stats.
As far as SP is concerned the increase you're talking about is passive SP gain. Every 3ish seconds you get a skill point. There is also active SP gain which is earned by fighting. The amount of active SP you get reflects the WP (war points) you accrue during battle which are awarded for kills, assists, hacking etc. |

First off, there's two ways you earn skill points. Passive skill training, which means that you gain points every few seconds and Active skill points which you gain after each match you play. Currently there is a daily cap on the Active skill points you can earn (which is under review at the moment).
There are also boosters that you can buy with real money that can increase the amount you earn 50% for a set time period.
In you look at the Skills tab on your Neocom, you'll see what skills you can spend your skill points on (bit like permanent perks). This game is like a marathon rather than a sprint, so it'll take time to fit the good weapons and gear. There are skills you can train that increase CPU and PG, and there are skills that reduce them for weapons or equipment.
Right now, I would stick to the militia gear and train up the Weaponry skill (5% per damage per level for all hand held weapons) the work on shields, armor and dropsuit skills.

Thanks! I already spent a HUGE portion of skill points... been grinding to get more. Currently I've ran into a few players that are shredding me with higher level gear. Bought one new assault riffle but can't put it on because it has too much CPU.

you can also tell if you get less sp from a match then normal like placing first with 1500 wp but only getting 2k sp then you know you hit it |
