This has been discussed several times no so I'm going to give you a fact: I played around with the numbers, I found out that with all bounses, the Max damage that you can possibly dish out to a vehicle from infantry is about 11.6k damage. That's That shouldn't be even possible, yet it is. |

Here's another fact: the avrage HAV has about 10-14k eHP. That means that you can basically 1-2 shot a HAV. |

I know my other rides a tank........what the name of my nyx twins are in eve........my other rides a nyx. Anywho, I'm just pointing out the militia no skill av equipment everyone has at 0 cost 0 skill need, easy 7 man switch out to av at nearest supply depot please and I'll go on all day about this, but no not enough info and I would like to see the stat lay out and math, would be interesting to know for sure if any one wants to do it. |

While I agree that top tier AV is kind of on the ridiculous side, I think you're going to have to show your work for this because I think you've got something wrong with those numbers. |

There is a very large gap between levels for tanks. From the attacker perspective, lower level tanks are garbage, while high tier tanks are solo gods. I suspect the stats would show the same.
And from the defender perspective, I don't feel like I can go solo against a high level tank without considerable loss of clones, but I can solo a lower level one.
I don't know if things are working as intended or not. That's up to ccp. |

Far from solo gods bud, you realize how much sp is going into shields, vehicle, weapons. Hav, engineering, electronics......then how much isk per tank. They freaking should be near solo gods lol but in truth their not......not even close. What I will give the higher tiers is with enough team support, tactics, and sp in the right places, you get a decent tank.....other team decides they want you dead, nothing you can do but die. |

I was just pointing that out. Anyways, the highest possible damage with a militia FG or swarms is 4.6k damage. If you want to do the math yourself, the bounses % is 285% (or 2.85 if you want to so it fast). This basically means that any person who trys skipping into other things can at max 4 shot and a couple nades any HAV that has self-reps (which is most since nobody will skill into remote reps yet). Plus, When do you ever see bluedots or even Corp mates protect vehicles? From experience, I can tell you it's the exact opposite. Now I say again, AV needs adjusting |

You're assuming that people have a very extreme build of pure AV. I don't think that's common at all, and if someone does have that build, then yes, he will probably make his one mission be to hunt your tank.
You make it sound so easy to swarm a tank 4 times and lob 2 grenades. I would suggest you fire back from your tank, or try moving. |

I don't think that's common at all, and if someone does have that build, then yes, he will probably make his one mission be to hunt your tank. Don't want it like wtf nerfed. Do want the militia stuff taken out, if you have skills in it then w/e. I don't want tanks to be like a titan, but I don't want it to be a t2 cruiser either...........top tier should be like a vindicator. |

Again, where are you getting these numbers from? Show how you're getting to +285% damage (and also where that 11.6k came from), because I don't think that's right. |

I dont know off the top of my head what the base damage is for forges, but I know for swarms its 300 a missile.
For proto swarm you get 6 missiles: 6 x 300 = 1800.
Max Weaponry of 10% adds: 180.
Swarm Proficiency adds 15% (3% per level?): 270.
2 complex damage mods with stacking penalty should give around 18%(?): 324.
That is a total of 2574 for a PROTO swarm IF all the missles hit. |

I have yet to see a single tank with no nearby infantry eager for easy kills AKA rassberry AV infantry. |

I see the support. Usually it comes in the form of one person knocking the shields and most of the armor off of the tank, then suddenly every blueberry on the map becomes RAMBO trying to get the last hit in.

Alright, Im finally in game and I see no one has posted the numbers for a forge so here we go.
The highest tier breach forge (DCMA-5) has a base damage of: 2310.
Add max weaponry (10%): 231.
Add forge proficiency lvl 5 (15% total): 346.5.
Add two complex damage mods with stacking penalty (18%?): 415.8.
For a total damage of: 3303.3. |

o boy someone posted the base damage of the highest damage forge gun I think you would want to know that the highest damage railgun turret does a base of 1749.00 damage :D yeah those OP turrets yeah dem forges are more powerful :D need to balance the turrets vs AV then we need to balance AV vs EHP.
my opinion on AV is something handheld should never out damage a large turret of the same level so I think we need to revisit AV that way. I can't tell you how many times I've had my tank blown up trying to run away from AV and getting blown up before I could find out which direction the damage is coming from( and in this same tank I had an orbital called down directly on top of it and when it was already damaged and survived) |

A large rail turret can fire three-four shots in the same time it would take a standard forge gun to fire one or two. Also, the Breach forge guns have increased charge up times and keep the user from moving while the gun is charging in exchange for a much higher damage rating. It's an extremely vulnerable AV platform. |
