this game isnt ready for a public release even though one is planned in the near future. psn gamers will not see it like a beta they will see it as a game that has a lot of flaws and the game will flop because it will get a bad review.
i am not hating i feel that it is a good game, it just needs alot of work which will happen with time.
now that it is legible, zdowgg despite your impeccably terrible grasp of spelling you have raised some interesting points however you did fail to list any specific problems that you find with the game and made a broad general statement that it is bad. that is untrue, while there are still some areas that need tweaking overall this is a very decent game.
besides which nobody ever said that there wouldnt be a hot fix or mini update come tomorrow or the day after. |

It's free to play. People will come and go over time. Getting bad reviews initially won't be such a big deal, as people will be able to give it a shot without having to drop $60 on it or whatever. |

The "open beta" bit is likely going to be displayed pretty prominently. Granted not everyone who peruses PSN is quite so apt to reading beyond the price tag. |

Plus people can always redownload after the next major build becomes available every 3-6months.
Personally I like the idea of starting out small and growing over time. |

Other games had everything on release, and they were 2 month wonders.
I could see that they should defiantly give more freedom and options to allow the players to create own content (which is essential in a game connected with eve).
But...
Why not open beta, the revenue now is peanuts compared to when all the eve players who want in can get in . Population could increase exponentially. Anything that could be desired in the future would go faster with revenue, the more they get the faster things could happen, and be fully self sufficient (no more bitching from eve players their subs fund this game).

The best part is if your gone for even say, 6 months, when you come back you'll have over 6 million sp built up. Talk about a reason to pick a game back up. |
