Come on CCP, really?
Who thought this would be a good idea?
I started off my night with the regular ambush maps and regular spawns, it was fun. Then all of a sudden I am playing these skirmbush matches, in which I have to run a mile just to reach the action if I spawn at default.
Not to mention the horribly boring skirmbush redline that happens in every match. Why would anybody at CCP think that redlining on ambush would be something worthwhile to try out? It's the worst thing to happen in a skirmish match for both sides, why plague ambush with it?
I really hope this isn't the solution to crap spawns in ambush, because I will lose all hope in CCP if that is the case. |

Yep this is not the correct answer to **** spawns
btw CCP you just justified redline sniping from the beginning to the end of the match, very bad. |

Totally agree have had this map come up once so far and it was horrible and just playing ambush with a redline to camp/hide behind, certainly not the answer to the alleged problem. |

Spawns can be fixed section8 style. Drop in from orbit anyware on the maps if u control a point u can land their due to aa guns or somthing |

It eliminates that possibility 100% (well unless you spawn on uplink or camped CRU). Which is why I think CCP did it, as an answer of sorts to the bad ambush spawning.
But the problems it breeds are far worse than bad spawns, which I would gladly take back to have the intense fast paced gameplay that ambush brings. One of my favorite maps has been transformed completely, now it's just a redline match each time and if you spawn at default, you are running for ages to reach any sort of action.
I'm glad they didn't do it to every map, but there is at least 3 that I played last night that now have it. I sure hope they don't force it to all maps in the next few weeks. |

You should be able to spawn within 10-20 feet of teammates, that wold solve the issue of needing to run anywhere because you are where you are generally supposed to be (who doesn't work as a squad in a team game)
Could also have it be so you can pick which person you spawn at, but... that might take away the purpose of the beacon equipment. So have it random, and not any who are taking damage
