From the little I've played of them, the new maps are pretty fantastic. The massive 5 point one feels like an actual battle with a dozen people running, driving LAVs and tanks, and actually using dropships all at once in a run for the main building.
The modes I have yet to see, I don't know whats changed, I think I'll check a bit more and see if I can get into them. So far haven't seen any variations. |

There's also an increase in the random installation drops during a battle, I love it! And the new variation on the 3 point map is awesome! And I THINK I saw a familiar map from a few builds ago, you must know the one I'm talking about |

The ambush where each side now has a safe red zone is one of the worst things they have done. The first time I got to experience it, 3 enemy tanks and like 5 snipers hiding in their red zone, with no reason to come out because it's ambush, just shooting at people from safety. Nice job, whoever thought that was a good idea.
The skirmish variants are nice. |

I just played on that, the enemy had a tank they couldn't get out of their red zone, and we ended up just redlining them. Silly mechanics are silly. |

Also skrimish is ok for now, but there needs to be a reason to win.
Also I've never gotten the single capture point map, it looked fun. |

Would have been less dumb with the same redline for everyone, so there's no safe zone you can shoot out of but can't be gotten to. Just have initial spawns be on separate sides of the map so there isn't that mess at the beginning of everyone spawning on each other. |

Looks like CCP managed to fix the problem with the skim junction map. Hardly any lag or frame rate drops. |

Don't speak so soon. I just experienced a game on the new map with massive lag and frame rate loss. Audio was cutting in and out the entire match. |
